Buyer beware this is NOT, I repeat NOT a Tweezerman product. It is a knock off. It is not returnable however Amazon refunded my money and told me I could dispose of this product "however I saw fit." It went into the trash. I've owned several tweezerman tweezers. They have very sharp tips. These are wide, dull and poorly aligned. They wouldn't "tweeze" a single eyebrow hair. Do not buy this knock off product or potentially any other product from this seller! Read more
Don't buy these from HumDonald. I don't believe the tweezers he sold to me are genuine Tweezerman tweezers. I have been using Tweezermans for more than a decade. The tweezers I received are too hard to squeeze and the tip isn't tapered , unlike Tweezerman Stainless Steel Slant Tweezer, Black original Tweezermans. They didn't come in the orginal Tweezerman packaging - they were in a little plastic bag. I am returning these and letting Amazon know what my issue is. Read more
Tips don't align, scratches and dull ends. Looks like they were altered. Worse yet, fulfilled by Amazon but not eligible for return. Awful that if you don't watch every aspect of a prime item that one can accidentally purchase something fake or altered. Read more
Because these tweets are extremely expensive and because they received so many great reviews, I bought them. They are useful only if you want to use them to pull out your hair on your head because you paid so much for something so useless!Stick with the Guru brand but not as sold in the set; set must be made up of seconds.Guru works best but tip dulls in a month or so.The tweezerman brand are completely useless! These are clearly not Tweezerman tweezers. The font on the “logo” does not correspond to the one on my old ones and they came in a cheap plastic pouch (Tweezermans usually come in better packaging). This wouldn’t be a problem if they actually worked as well as originals, but the tip is not as sharp and doesn’t grip hairs as well as my old one, even though that one is over five years old and damaged. Most people are born with eyebrows.I was born with one, all powerful unibrow. This bad boy looks like a caterpillar climbing across the ridge of my skull.Mortal tweezers cannot contain the mythical breast which runs wild above my eyes. This tweezerman is my excalibur and keeps my monstrous brow in check. Well worth every penny. Read more
Just got them today. I bought them for brows and facial hair. They DO NOT WORK. Can’t grab a thing. I looked closely and the prongs have tiny nicks so they don’t have a seamless grip. And they are not returnable! Well no wonder! I researched for good tweezers and these had excellent reviews. They must be fake. I am so disappointed and upset that I wasted my money on this piece of crap. Read more
I've had generic tweezers ($2-4?) for forever, but I decided to splurge on this and take a leap of faith. The biggest difference between these and generic tweezers is the precision—and success—of grabbing a hair on the first try. With my old tweezers, I would grab a hair, pinch, and it would slide between the tips of the tweezers. Between the craftsmanship of these slanted tips (no subtle gaps when they meet) and the way the tweezers apply pressure to them, it actually pulls out the hair, rather than having it slip through the cracks. I'm really disappointed with these. Ive had several pairs of Tweezerman tweezers over the years and these wer to replace a pair I recently lost. They look fine but the ends are too thick and blunt, not sharp at all like my previous pair.Obviously can't return either so I'm stuck with a pair of tweezers that are no use to me.Am questioning if they are a genuine Tweezerman product? Not happy. Unfortunately I received a counterfeit item as when I took them to sharpen at a tweezerman outlet I was told they could not do it as the items were not an original product, disappointed as purchased via Amazon and they were not cheap!! :( Read more
Doubt I received counterfeit goods considering the official source, but some people reported theirs being made in Germany/U.S. while I found mine to be made in india and even the packaging looked counterfeit-like.If it's going to be made in india it should cost a tiny fraction of the price.Immediately returned. Fantastic tweezers, these are the second pair I have bought. You get what you pay for, cheap tweezers kill me when using them, these however make it so much more bearable. Quality product. Read more
I have purchased Tweezerman tweezers for many years. They have always been extremely sharp, springy and weighty. These were a great disappointment - the points did not meet, the steel feels lightweight and there is no spring. They feel the way they do when they wear out. These are now manufactured in India and are no better than a cheap pair purchased in a supermarket. Read more
