I've been paying someone $30 every month to trim my eyebrows for me, because I never thought that I would be able to trim my eyebrows myself. I figured it would be way too hard for me to learn, I would butcher them. Worry no more with this Tweezerman set, it makes it easy! First just brush your eyebrows up, so you can see which ones are too long and need to be cut. Then just trim one hair at a time, and repeat until you are happy with their look. I do not have the steadiest hands, but I was able to do it with no problem, the contoured scissors make it easy to get close to your brow to cut the hairs. I like that this set comes with a brow brush, so you do not have to purchase it separately.If you're a beginner like me, it is helpful to watch tutorial videos online, if you're nervous and feel you need more instruction. The only potential downside in the scissors is that the finger holes are kinda small. I am 5'3" petite person and the thumb hole is snug on me (see photo). I have long eyebrow hairs that grow quickly; there are places where my eyebrow hairs hang too long, like where they cover the arch and detract from the shape of what I tweezed. When I used to go swimming, my eyebrows would get wet and droop, losing their shape because the longer hairs went everywhere. These scissors & spoolie are so helpful in just trimming away what I don’t need!The tips of the scissors are small and nimble, especially in comparison to the kid/safety scissors I was using before (so it was a huge improvement for me)! I can brush my eyebrows up with the spoolie and neatly trim the excess hair that detracts from the shape of my eyebrows. Admittedly, it is a little hard cutting with my left hand to get my left eyebrow, but that would be the case with any pair of scissors.Are there cheaper products? Probably. I had eyebrow transplants to fill in missing / thin areas. Since they use the hair on your head to transplant hairs from regular trimming is required. I have radiculopathy into both of my hands due to cervical spine damage, so my dexterity is affected. I have been using these scissors for the past 2+ weeks and so far love them! They are easy to hold and make precise cuts. I am not paid to post reviews. I am skeptical of many reviews and especially don't trust reviews from those paid to do so. The angled handle is good feature, but the blade and overallscissors were bad. Blade not as sharp as manicure scissors I've been usingand scissors stiff when trying to open and close. When I cut a hair the scissors won't open back up, and when I liftedthem away from brow, it tore a couple hairs out leaving a bare spot. The finish isn't a smooth, shiny stainless steel. It's more likea brushed aluminum, and I think that also contributed to the grabbing of hair and pulling out.I had also tried Tweezerman slant tweezers last year and not using them because edges toothick and couldn't grab hair as well as Rubis brand tweezers. The scissors work perfectly - they cut the brow hairs easily and are comfortable to hold, though I do have smaller hands. I use the little spoolie to brush my brow hairs upwards before I trim them - it's an average spoolie and works just as well as any of them. This is a nice little kit for the money. Read more

I have long, thick brows that grow quite quickly. I used to trim them with nail scissors but I thought there must be something better to use, as nail scissors are not sharp enough and don't have a fine nib to trim with precision. I came across these, and I swear by Tweezerman tweezers, so thought they would be great and I wasn't wrong. I will never use nail scissors again after using these. They are sharp and trim really well even if I only need to trim the smallest amount off. I have never used a brush before either, but it makes it so much easier to trim my brows. The brush seems really good quality, I use it everyday now to brush my brows into a nice shape.
