The price of an item IS NOT an indicator of its value or quality either.I like to do my homework and read the opinions and ratings of knowledgeable websites when I am making alot of my purchases. I like knowing that I am keeping up with what is available on the market.My TweezerGuru Professional Slant tweezers have a good feel when I hold them. They are not awkward or annoying to hold. BUT, the precision of these tweezers was something that I had to get used to. Seriously, you need to check your aim before you "pinch". These tweezers are very precise and the "pinch" is "a definite". I love that it now takes me a fraction of the time to tend to my female, facial, "I hate to mentions".I am a 54 year old female who is now trying to defy aging a little late in my life. Learning about "beauty" tools and techniques is very important to me now. I am realizing that there are things I can do that cost little or no money that can help to enhance my appearance.These tweezers were worth the time finding online. You just might be wasting alot of precious time and effort right now using tweezers that you thought were top of the line. I wanted to buy another copy of these tweezers because I loved the first ones I bought. The ones I just received are different in many ways (for the worse) than the first ones. Shorter body (worse grip), shorter edge (loss of functionality), smaller edge inclination angle (limited availability to reach hard to access places), less spring effect in the "legs", there appears to be rough grinding marks left on the edges but only on one side (unprofessional look), the vertex of the edge appears to be obtuse (I loved the original because it was so pointy, sharp) and the new ones did not come with the edge protector rubber cap. From a production and functionality point of view this certainly appears to be a salvage/production defect item. Pretty sad neither the manufacturer nor the seller cared to catch it. If this is the intended new design, I need to say it has changed for the worse.I don't like this product, but there appears to be no return availability. For a brand that calls themselves a "guru" their quality isn't even as good as regular department store tweezers. If you can see in the image, the tweezer doesn't close all the way and there is a gap. It seems like this is a cheap tweezer and the company just printed their name on the handle. On the pro side, this will probably work with long thick brow hair but not thin fine ones. Read more

Best tweezer I've ever owned. This awesome tool really knows what it's doing. I have been plucking blindly at chin hairs for over ten years and have always been frustrated by my other tweezers. Now, with one pluck, those darn chin hairs are gone. I wish I'd known about these a long time ago. It's amazing how much life can be improved by a good pair of tweezers. I can grow a goatee as good as, or better than, any man so tweezers are my #1 possession. In the past week I bought 8 pairs trying to find a good set to no avail. This brand's tweezers are FABULOUS! First, they are sharp. You can easily grab the short new growth as well as the finer hairs. They are aligned perfectly, & they feel nice in your hand. The bright blue color makes it easy for me to find since my tweezers are often on my couch cushion. I never put them away so I am able to pull the hairs that make an appearance throughout the day at a moments notice. I will be buying more in the future, I suggest that you make a purchase too. Compared to almost every other pair of tweezers I have owned, these are basically useless. The opening between the prongs is significantly more narrow than other tweezers I have, which work well. Because of the narrow opening, these tweezers really don't work very much at all. It would be better to buy an inexpensive pair in a drug store. These are some of the best tweezers I have ever bought. They are far better quality than the expensive drug store ones that cost over 30 bucks, bend and have no grip. This pair will grab onto the tiniest hair and hold it tightly as I pull it out if my face, ear or nose. My girlfriend loves using them on her eyebrows. She bought a pair after she used mine. I have another pair that I use on my pets. They are equally as handy when pulling ticks off the dogs. I strongly recommend this product. My five star ratings don't come easy. Having always bought tweezerman I was a sceptical if there was any other tweezers worth knowing...as I typed in tweezers Into the search to find my trusty tweezers in a different shade and feeling a little daring a different pattern I came across these. The stars were so good against the amount of reviews it prompted me to stop mid search of my OGs and have a look...and the reviews weren’t wrong! Move over tweezerman you have a new rival. I still can’t believe for the price how good they are! They grabbed the tiniest hair no problem, the whole process was completely effortless and fast. 2mins later I was walking around the house with my mirror trying to get different light on my eyebrows to see if I could find anymore to pluck out as it was just SO EASY and actually became a fun process. I have only had them a couple of days, so I’m interested to see how long they will last...a word of warning also they are sharp!! After a good 10 minutes last night which resulted in an annoyed me and a red chin with a very stubborn little hair still attached I decided it was time to buy a new pair of tweezers. These arrived today and I gave them the ultimate test - above mentioned stubborn little chin hair. First attempt and it was removed with ease! These tweezers are incredible. This is my first review for a product on amazon, but after reading the reviews for these tweezers I had to buy them. I always struggle with pesky eyebrow hairs that I can never seem to get rid of and no matter what tweezers I try it never seems to do the trick. When I first used these tweezers, they worked like a dream, I was amazed they got the hairs out so easily. Fast forward like 3 days and when I go to use them the 2nd time they can barely grasp any hair on me! I have no idea whats happened to them! They just dont work after literally 3 days! I had never really given tweezers a second thought.....always just used the ones that come in naff little stocking filler sets. I never realised there were superior tweezers than others. My 10 year old tweezers had somehow become very dull and my unibrow was starting to take a hold of my face. Popped onto amazon so that I could get tweezers on prime (in order to swiftly re-separate my brows and claim my face back). I saw these and the thousands of reviews they had, so thought i'd give them a go. Now I wonder how I ever managed without them! They are so sharp (in fact, so sharp that you need to be careful!) and they seem to be able to pluck hairs that I never even knew were there. I struggle with tweezers as the ones I’ve bought are never that good and I end up going back to some I’ve had years. But I really needed some as mine old faithful ones have just about given up the ghost.So I’ve been looking and saw these which had mixed reviews.I’ve had them several weeks now and I think they’re great. They are angled, which isn’t ideal as I like flat ones, but they are fantastic. They get even the smallest and finest hairs and I’m finding them very easy to use.
