So, I guess I’m an idiot who can’t read labels, but this product contains a ridiculously tiny fraction of the magnesium I thought I was buying. My neurologist prescribed me 1,000 mg/day for sleep and migraines. I thought the capsules in this bottle were 200mg each. They are not. It’s 200mg per THREE CAPSULE SERVING. So to get my prescribed dose from this bottle I’d have to swallow, count ‘em, FIFTEEN of these pills. Back to the drawing board. Read more

I tried this because a friend takes it and recommended it. After a week of only taking 2 pills a day, I started noticing a strange tight feeling in my abdomen. I also felt constantly full and never hungry (until I would eat something, which seemed to wake up my appetite). It was very unsettling and definitely not normal. These just recently changed. I’ve been getting these for months on a regular basis and they used to be capsules, but now they’re a tablet with bulking agents. I noticed within 15 minutes that they caused my chest to feel tight and my heart had an irregular rhythm. I won’t be buying these again. Not sure why they changed them up. Be careful. Read more

Be careful with these. I've been using Magnesuim (different types) for several years. These were OK, but taking two instead of one in the morning (a dose stated to be OK on the bottle) lead to me weak, shakey and shoer of breath to the extreme of needing to call 999. My body recovered OK but the experience was temporarily hellish. This may be a good quality magnesium, or possibly not. I'm not entirely sure, but remember, the poison is in the dosage along with the ways suppliments many interact with others, and please be very careful with these. Had been having migraines for five or six years. Medications prescribed by GP were ineffective and had side effects. After doing some reading, and after having some blood tests done privately, I weaned myself off the GP-prescribed medications and started supplementing with this Igennus Triple Magnesium Complex. The migraines appear to have stopped – only one very minor one soon after starting supplementation (so before getting the full benefit of supplementing). Since then, none at all, despite repeated exposure to the trigger that previously was a near guarantee of a migraine. So, very pleased. Of course, that’s my experience – it may not be the same for others.The only negative is that I find these capsules have a tendency to stick in the throat rather than going straight down, so I find it’s worth having a drink and a cube of chocolate on hand to wash the capsules down. I mistakenly didn’t read the recent reviews as this is a regular purchase and just clicked ‘buy again’.It is now no longer slim capsules but massive tablets with lots of bulking agent and there’s now only 60 in the pack not 90.The item listing has not been update to reflect this so I will be getting in touch with igennus to alert them to their responsibilities around the trade descriptions act.Bring back the smaller capsules please or I’ll get my magnesium elsewhere. I had started suffering from some very uncomfortable palpitations. A medical professional mentioned to me that she stopped palpitations herself by taking magnesium tablets so i thought i'd give them a try - and since i started a few months ago I have never had an uncomfortable reoccurrence .
