I’m a nurse and I have POTS.. always get flares after a flu shot but this years flu shot completely jacked my POTs up worse than its been in 3+ years.. in addition to now getting outpatient IV fluid, I discovered this gem and man oh man it’s helped SO much. The taste it pretty bad, but I finally figured out a combo that makes it tolerable to me. I use 1 packet of this in an empty large Powerade bottle (a little under a liter size), 1 tsp of lemonade crystal light or one small packet for like a 16oz bottle, plus 2-3 TBS of lemon juice Or like when I’m working and don’t wanna mess with carrying around actual juice, I’ll use Real Lemon crystalized lemon packets, 5 of them. Colder the better but room temp is okay too. Wrk days I’ll drink 2 of these, plus a Powerade and water. I have saline IVs once or twice a week to help with hypovolemia (low blood volume) and dysautonomia (disorder of the autonomic nervous system). I use TriOral on non-infusion days. It has been helpful in reducing symptoms considerably. I have found only one other product that contains the same balance of electrolytes and this is less expensive. It is reassuring to me that this is the new World Health Organization formula.Others have reported a bad taste. Took this recently on a trip to New Orleans where the temperature was at least 15 degrees warmer than I am comfortable with, where I walked 5 more miles than I usually average, and I felt/feel great. I do tend to get dehydrated fairly easily, and just water doesn't cut it. And the drinks you can buy I just can't stand. I also cannot get behind buying multiple bottles of said drinks (waste of money and the plastic), whereas this lets you just refill your water bottle.There is a weird salt taste once you add them, but you do not have the weird after taste. This stuff is almost impossible to find in a local store. The available "rehydration" products don't have enough electrolyte to treat a severe diarrhea.This stuff is the current recommended WHO formula.This could be used as the base of a "sports" drink. It doesn't taste good but it isn't supposed to. One could always add flavoring. Read more

If you feel super dehydrated for whatever reason, from traveling, sports, diarrhea, hungover, you need these! Some people don’t like the taste but I absolutely love it.
