Just arrived yesterday, and I put it to work right out of the box. The AcuCurve is far superior to the Back Buddy. It doesn’t have a gazillion little knobs that serve no purpose. It has three ergonomically shaped trigger point balls made of a firm synthetic polymer that have a little give to them, not the hard plastic knobs of the Back Buddy. The polymer shaft is sturdier, too. I like to use a lot of pressure, and I can bend the Back Buddy to the point of breaking, but not the AcuCurve. I’m using it right now as I type this review. I’m thinking of getting another one so I can have one at home and at work. Read more
I suffer from migraines, tmj, tension headaches, numbness and tingling in the fingers and so many other problems caused by herniated/bulging discs, fibromyalgia, djd, and just plain bad posture and stress that's caused by having that other list of 💩! I have tried and will continue to try and use whatever I can find (that's legal...lol) to help with relieving pain and managing it so that I can continue to be active and LIVE my life to the fullest. It works wonderfully on the back to relieve those knots. Unlike a few others I've tried this one is also VERY DURABLE.This is one of the best tools that I can recommend to others out there who have pain. Read more
Full information on this and similar devices is found in the Trigger Point Therapy Workbook. I'm a book reader and end up with considerable neck pain and tightness. This device works the trigger points which are a reason for the symptoms - the areas of treatment are my neck, upper back and shoulder.I've used Trigger Point Therapy along with targeted exercises successfully in the past to resolve trigger point pain in my lower back, arm and leg and highly recommend it.I highly recommend reading the book first so you know exactly what you are doing. Oh wow. Not to worry. Just my life completely changed by this tool which allows me to finally use my own hands to work out the trigger points and muscle tightness I have after suffering from thoracic outlet syndrome, parsonage Turner syndrome, and myofasical pain syndrome with trigger points galore from my ribs to my shoulders to my neck and the base of my head to the my clavicle down my arms to my hands. Seriously this has changed my life and I just wish I had bought it sooner. Now I can work on myself right where I can feel I need it and for as long as I need! If you have pain, and are in misery the days between physical therapy, dry needling, or getting adjusted/ massaged, buy this, a cupping set, and an accupressure mat and pillow, and you will be able to cope so much better. I really want to thank whoever invented and manufactured this because it has changed my life after just a few days of having it. Now I bring it with me into every room. I can sleep better and while I watch tv or whatever I’m doing, I can hold this tool and work hard on all those tight areas to help relieve tension and trigger points and calm everything down. Thank you thank you thank you. Read more
Out of all my self massagers, rollers, etc., this has to be one of my favorites. It's great on leverage and hitting all those trigger points. The balls on the end are pliable hard rubber and so is the black pinpoint. I use all aspects of this device daily and always come away feeling better. Read more
I can't rate this massager highly enough. My husband and I are very active with strength training, swimming, cycling and running and frequently need massages. This device allows you to get the proper leverage to work out the knots anywhere they begin to appear each day which helps tremendously with overall tension relief. Using on someone else or yourself, it make working out the kinks so much easier and less effort! Read more
I have purchased three of these so far, and haven't gotten to use them for more than a week each time because I keep giving them to friends and family. I highly recommend this product. Use it with caution though. The pointy end is very effective, so not much pressure is needed at all. I went in too hard when I used it the first few times, and ended up hurting myself. The material is lightweight, and extremely sturdy. It offers just the right amount of flexion, so it delivers pressure in a natural way. Not forced or too rigid. The balls on the end are hard, but also have some give, so they too feel natural, and deliver energy to the muscles without causing damage. Again, use caution as it can damage muscle and bone if used too rigorously. Light taps do wonders.Lastly, it is perfectly ergonomic. At first I feared that it may be too small, but after some experimentation I found that it can reach every muscle effectively. Your entire body will thank you. Even your feet! Read more
I have purchased many tools/ gadgets to “alleviate” trigger point pain, This one, however, I find to be the easiest to use in targeting the offending nasty TP. The theracane is great but I am apparently not as adept as required to apply it successfully in a number of areas. The AcuCurve is a more manageable sizefor me, however, I gave it 4 stars because the massage balls are a mystery to me, with no instructions included. How to utilize this feature on the spine, as recommended on the attached tag would seemto be extremely challenging unless you are a contortionist, which I am not. Read more
I loved the idea of this product.I also loved the relief it provided. But after not long and not much pressure, it just came apart. It didnt snap. It just literally came apart.I have written the seller. And have still not received a reply which is upsetting.I will continue to wait however. As i believe in forgiveness and a second chance.TDKTdagkhan@gmail.com Read more

I don't get much use from the softer orange balls, but the harder black part is perfect for shoulder and upper back muscles. I use this any time I've got tension from stress or exercise, it feels great. Read more
