I recently bought a curling wand and after Googling videos on how to use it, in just about every video the use of heat protectant was advised to protect your hair which makes mucho sense. In addition, many of these tutorials used this same exact one.I love this product. It smells fantastic! And the scent is long lasting. It is lightweight and it is certainly not sticky. My hair is soft and fine and this product did not weigh my hair down in any way whatsoever. I love the lock/unlock feature on the handle of the nozzle. I ran out of my usual heat protector for my hair. I could not find it anywhere so I bought this after reading all the reviews. It does protect my hair and I feel that my hair is less frizzy now after using this before blow drying. It makes my hair feel soft and silky. There is no heavy or greasy feel to my hair when I use this. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I don't like that it is a spray. This is really a personal preference though. I am used to using a gel like product normally. I feel like I can't tell how much or little I am putting on. With the gel, even when my hair was wet, I could tell if I had used enough and if I had missed any of it. Now I am not for sure. Plus, I don't like how it gets on the floor and makes the floor feel slippery. I try to keep it over the sink as to not make a mess, but it is hard to control where it goes. Again, this is personal preference and maybe this is not a factor for most buyers. But I will look for a gel next time. Read more

I love this stuff! It’s the best heat spray for straightening my hair. I’ve used this for years now. It’s the only stuff I use. It doesn’t leave your hair oily or greasy, but it protects it from heat. Sometimes, if my hair is frizzy, I’ll even spray it in my hands and rub it through my hair just to get the frizz out. It works well but I had an allergic reaction. I realize not everyone does, but honestly I got the same heat protection effect with grapeseed oil, which had the added benefit of making my hair look extra shiny. Even a tiny dewdrop of that stuff goes a long way. If you can go natural and cheap, why not? Read more

Wasn't expecting to like this as much as I do after the first try, but seriously,my hair has never looked better or felt softer. And this is coming from someone who doesnt think twice about spending $40 on a deep conditioning hair masque or some new keratin spray to stave off damage. It smells nice but my hair is truly the softest it's been in a long time. I feel like even if I didn't use a heat styler, I'd use this product for its conditioning alone. And I love that it was sent packaged in a ziplock baggie, and that the nozzle has this little flip switch to prevent the handle from depressing accidentally and spraying the product when you don't mean to. I like this Tresemme heat tamer after shower spray. It is lighter than other sprays so my hair is easier to style. I use several different 'leave-in' conditioning sprays and rotate them to prevent a build up on my hair. The sent is light and fresh and won't over power you Cologne/perfume. I don't know what 'Drying Power' is so I rated it a 3. I have used this product for years and obviously recommend it. Read more

I've been looking for a heat protection spray that can be used on dry as well as wet hair. This one fits the bill and I have used TRESemme for many years so though I would give it a try. First off it has a lovely smell (just like you get after going to the hairdressers) and it lasts in your hair all day. I use it first on wet hair when blow drying and it makes combing through easier and gives a lovely smooth finish. If straightening I use again on my dry hair (make sure to spray quite far away and not too close to the roots) I was worried it would make my hair crispy or sticky but it doesn't at all!
