Probably the best product I have ever brought for my newborn! I've read a few unfortunate stories about a mother losing her child because the head would slump down on the car seat which closes the neck and the baby ended up suffocating to death. The mother was driving so she didn't think anything was wrong and that the baby was just sleeping.After reading about that I immediately bought this because I too noticed my daughters head would slump down if she falls asleep while I drive. And I'll say, this pillow holds her neck right in its place. She can turn side to side but when she falls asleep, the pillow doesnt allow her neck to slump down making the car ride worry-free. It's has beautiful colors as well and I love the design. Its soft and has a supportive cushion. I highly recommend this for ALL NEWBORNS. We received the item and installed it in our Graco Snugride 30 Click Connect infant car seat. We used our car seat approximately four times. When we went to use the car seat the fifth time we noticed that the snaps that hold the two individual cushions together were broken into multiple pieces. The pieces were missing from their original position on the cushions. We located the small plastic snap pieces in the seating area of the car seat. This item is extremely dangerous for babies! If a baby was to find one of the plastic pieces it could be a choking hazard! We returned the product immediately for a refund. Read more

Really love this pattern a lot but it does not fit well in my car seat. I have put it in just as directed but it just bunches up too much. With the shoulder straps on the newborn setting, my baby's head is not going to fit right in the head cushion. It also is very bunched up on the buckle that goes under the crouch. Read more

This is awesome for my son. He was born with left torticollis on his neck. So to keep it straight and so he won't face just one direction, I had to get this and use both insert until his head got too big and he was uncomfortable, so I took out the inner insert and just use the outer one. This definently got the job done but my baby gets a bit warm on her back from the material (wouldn't recommend for a trip longer than 30 mintues). It's not very breathable. The "Car Seats" portion of the title should be removed. These work for other purposes but they are not safety tested to be used in a car seat- we showed up to the hospital with ours when our son was born and they had me remove it. I purchased this to use in our mamaroo swing. My son has a head support like this in his car seat and seems to really like it, so I purchased this one in hopes that with this he would enjoy being in his swing more. He does seem to like it. It keeps his head from flopping around and seems to give him a snug secure feeling. The two layers are made of different fabric, the inner layer is softer than the second.
