Sadly, I have to give this hair an extremely poor review. For over 15 years I have worn various protective styles using synthetic hair without issue. My scalp and skin are not sensitive and I have healthy long natural hair however this Toyotress hair (crochet butterfly locs) itched my scalp so bad that I had to cut it out 4 days after my stylist installed it. I did not pre wash the hair: there were no instructions in the package to do so. Plus, I NEVER pre-wash my synthetic hair. I’ve never had a need to or issue. I did try to wash my hair/scalp with ACV and warm water however that made my scalp worse. It seems the chemicals in this hair are really strong. I told my stylist it literally felt like needles sticking my scalp when I tried to calm the itching down because it was so irritated. My ear has also broken out in a rash. I’m requesting a full refund and praying there is no lingering damage to my natural hair. Lesson learned: I will either use natural hair or pre wash my synthetic hair. In the trash! Read more

These were not what I expected. They were so hard for me to put in, the loops were too hard to find & getting them through my hair was a hassle. They were heavier than I expected too. I couldn’t even sleep with them in I had to mines out less than 24 hours after installing them. Don’t get me wrong they are very pretty, but was just too much to handle. Read more

Let me start off with the dislike and it was only one. Each strand of locs did NOT have a visible loop. I had to make a loop on each individual one which was a total pain in the a**.Other than that my hairstyle came out nice. It’s a bit heavy when first installing but after about a week you don’t notice it. I used 7 out of 8 packs to finish my head. Oh if anybody have a problem with stiffness you can dip them in hot water to have them free flowing. It does not mess up the locs in any way. Read more

Very disappointed. I have never received a product from this company that I didnt like.... Until yesterday 2/9/2020. The distressed locks have an ashy look and are very fuzzy. Not the fuzzy that distressed locks are supposed to have. Its as though the persons were doing a rushed job to get the locked done. I honestly don't think the hair is by Toyotress. The package didn't even come with the company's card stock photo. The hair just came in a clear zip lock bag. I want to return to get a better set of locks from this company. But all its allowing me to do is apply for a refund of my money, which I dont want. Dont let the photos I took fool you. They don't look good in person. I’m this is a new style for me and I ended up really liking it. The more they get worn the more I fall in love. Pls do a warm water and apple cider vinegar rinse before wearing the hair. I’ve had scalp irritation with hair and I find the the rinse really helps. Read more

This is good quality hair. My braider was very impressed. Definitely hand twisted and lightweight. I've gotten lots of compliments on the style. I have prime, my hair arrived 2 days after I placed the order. I'll definitely order from this vendor again. Read more
