I can't live without these hair building fibers. I have severely thinning hair on the top and sides of my head (hypothyroid) but the Toppik fibers cover it so well that even people who have known me with thick hair tell me they can't tell that I've lost so much. It's been a massive boost to my self-confidence and I re-order as soon as I get low. The .97 oz usually lasts me a little over a month. I haven't noticed any residue left on my pillows or messiness when I get sweaty, like others have. I do spin class twice a week and sweat like crazy, but mine has always stayed put. Product was bought for a -now ex- boyfriend who was losing a lot of hair.The area covered wasn't completely bald but it was thinning so the scalp was showing through his hair.First, the fibers go EVERYWHERE in the bathroom.It may not be noticeable at first but the greenish-black residue builds up on soap, the floor, over the toilet seat etc.Second, it's good at hiding the bald spot but if it's too windy it'll blow off of your head.Third, if you sweat, you'll sweat green. which makes an awkward conversation to anyone who notices.Fourth, you'll have to be very careful when getting ready as well as being out and about- can't shake your head to vigorously or tilt too hard/fast or it'll sprinkle off.Lastly, although it has its problems, I think they were ultimately inevitable problems. for a short term solution this seems to be well worth it since he asked me to buy him a bigger bottle when he was finished with the smaller trial size one.He carries it EVERYWHERE.I can understand losing hair in his early 20s is super stressful for him so it was definitely a confident booster for him.But now that he's gone, I hope he lost the rest of his hairs :-)))) Read more

I started to loose my hair a few years ago. My bestie's hairdresser mentioned this to her one day and she ordered it for me. I have continued to reorder as needed. It provides excellent scalp coverage and makes the hair I have look fuller. I don't leave home and usually don't stay at home without it. The only drawback and having to use it so far up front that they loose powder does settle on my forehead, but that is easy to correct by waiting a little while and then just wiping it off with a facial toner. I've noticed over the past several years that my part seems to be getting wider. Ugh :-( Having a naturally sensitive/red scalp doesn't help because it's more noticeable. I've been attacking hair loss it with minoxidil, Nutrafol supplements and a HairMax laser band. The three-pronged approach is working but takes time. This product helps camouflage my bare scalp in the meantime and looks very natural. Lasts throughout the day and washes out easily. Doesn't irritate my scalp. Highly recommend. This product seemed promising especially after watching videos on how it works and how easily the fibers adhere to your current hair to give you the result of fuller, thicker hair. However, upon actual usage, I found that this product was merely a vessel for blonde dust that shook out like powdered sugar and lay flat on my scalp doing nothing but settling even after following the directions. Easy to apply and it stays on my scalp! I cannot believe I found this product! It is the best. I have tried other products; but always come back to this! It takes practice but it is wonderful. You will need the scalp application guide tool(the comb looking thing) to get natural application to front hairline. You will need to use a light aerosol hairspray to keep it in place. I’ve been putting on Toppik around my receding hairline for about a year. I do prefer a smaller size than this one to apply. This is big to grip and apply. Toppik is also a little messy to apply and be careful after putting a hat on, swimming, sweating and scratching your hair. Make sure to apply where your hair starts on your head so it grips and isn’t as messy. Make sure it’s attaching to existing hair. But I’m giving it 5 stars as I mastered on my head how to put it on quickly and make it look like I have a full hairline in under a minute. I like a standard brush more then the Toppik applicator as well, unless your hair is very short in the hairline. Read more

I have used this product for 6 years now,it took me alittle while to get it right but to be honest from the start my friends were amazed that my bald crown had completely vanished,i am lucky to have kept as much hair as i have for my age 54,i started losing my hair at 17,I have been working in the same job for 5 years and everyone thinks i have amazing hair and it works for me but like everyone else don't go out in heavey rain and sometimes you need a little wipe but its a small price to pay for being able to hold your head up high,my old friends even have forgot now how i used to be ,,,i do use another product which cost me around 15 quid every 3 months ,which isn't bad and i think this product works better with shorter hair Read more

I have 2 years experience with this product, it works and does it's job well however it does smear if you or someone else touches or rubs. It does stain your shirts if affected hair area rubs against shirt collar etc.It is not rain proof nor sweat proof, it won't come off straight away but if you touch it when it's wet; it's the equivalent to using a wetwipe on makeup. Bought the dark brown version. Whilst the powder is very easy to use and actually covers thinning hair pretty well, the dark brown colour I was sent comes out black/purple. Quite disappointed with this as otherwise it's an excellent product. I bought the biggest size. It is advisable to try out the smaller sizes first. Read more
