I was very surprised with how soft the bristles are. In the picture, the bristles look quite hard and rough, but due to the price, I thought I would chance it. Very happy to find out that the bristles are soft! And great price!(Completely unrelated, but I was not happy with the delivery. I am very lucky that this item is unbreakable. The brush is slightly firmer than the one included in the Tommy Tippee healthcare kit. Which we found to be a good thing. Our daughter has mild cradle cap, always has from day one. This brush being slightly firmer seems to dislodge the loose bits better than the healthcare kit. She also seems to enjoy her hair being brushed now as she leans her head out to be brushed after bath time when she sees us grab the brush, which is pretty sweet of her.The comb may be useful when she has more hair but it doesn’t seem any different than a regular comb.
