Pros: the anti-fog concept works. That's about it.Cons: THE MIRROR IS WARPED. If you have a beard, when you're shaving your neck, you need to be able to see accurately to line the beard up with the jawline, or your face looks lopsided. This thing is so warped, that is impossible. Also, the LEDs are a joke. They somehow manage to be both blinding, and too dim to do any good.Do not recommend. Read more

I bought the standard, smaller version of this product first. I liked it, so I thought this one would be better. Both fit the same wall mount so I simply switched mirrors. I like the larger size of this deluxe version. Unlike some others, I don't find any fault with the fact that it is horizontally mounted. I do agree, however, with the reviewers who said the LEDs are pointless. They're dim and don't light up your face (assuming you're using it for shaving) at all. I think the price is pretty steep, but I have no objection to the quality, so, your choice on that. So, it gets 4 stars and would have been 5 if the LEDs weren't useless and the price were at least $10 less.UPDATE 2018: Mirror is still holding up well. I did drop it once while emptying out the water after use and there is a small crack in the corner of the frame. Not sure if it's due to that, but there is a very slow drip from the mirror now when in use. My fault, not a defect and does not at all keep me from using the product. My feelings about the LEDs are unchanged - they are pretty much useless. In fact, I am back looking around to see if they updated the product with better lighting, in which case I would have bought a new model. However, there is none. So, mirror = good, lights = of little use other than decorative.UPDATE 2020: No changes....mirror is still sturdy on the wall, still a slow drip from one corner and LED's are still useless, so I just removed the batteries so they don't leak from age and cause a new problem. As you add warm water, there is some bowing to the surface of the mirror, but not significant. Rating stays the same at a 4 and I would buy the larger mirror (like this one) without the LED's for $10 less easily. I thought of pouring some 'liquid' sealant into the bottom of the reservoir to stop the leak, but hey, it's in a shower, so it's not really worth the bother. Read more

I have been tirelessly looking for a shower mirror that actually doesn’t fog up, doesn’t require drilling in my shower tile, has sufficient surface area and is aesthetically appealing. Well, when I came across this one, I finally found a perfect fit!Let me break it down on why the ToiletTree Deluxe Shower Mirror is a great buy (based on my experience with other mirrors):Doesn’t Fog:All mirrors intended for the shower claim they don’t fog but news flash, many of them do! You can spend a ridiculous amount on special mirrors with elaborate coating but this mirror found a simple and very effective solution to this problem. There is a water reservoir in the back of the mirror and all you have to do is fill it with the same temperature water you’re showering with; the mirror easily glides out for removal (to fill it up with water) and it is easy to place back in the base resulting in a no fuss/hassle user experience.Easy/Mess Free Wall Application:I realized most mirrors of this size and weight don’t work well with suction cups. I have tried them before and regardless of how well I prep the surface, they always end up falling. There are options that allow you to drill holes in your shower tile but lets face it, for most that is too messy, complicated, and they don’t want to do something that leaves permanent holes and/or damage on the tile. So whats the solution? Silicone glue! ToiletTree includes more than enough silicone glue to apply this mirror safety and securely to your shower wall without it falling off in a few days (or minutes in some cases). I have had my mirror for about 7 months now and it hasn’t even shifted, let alone fall. PLEASE NOTE: Be sure to follow the simple instructions and prep the surface properly. Prep is easy, just use an alcohol wipe (99% alcohol works best) to clean the area you are applying the mirror to and dry it off (preferably with something that doesn’t leave lint behind, I used a microfiber cloth). Be patient and allow the the mirror base to be mounted for the required time before adding the mirror (I believe you leave it applied for 24 hours but as noted, I installed it 7 months ago and don’t remember 100%). The process is simple, easy to follow, and will ensure your mirror last securely for your enjoyment.Mirror Has Big Surface Area and a Swivel Neck:When you buy a shower mirror, your intent is for it to simplify your life; you don’t want to hunch over or stand in one isolated position to use the mirror. ToiletTree solves this problem by giving you ample surface area on the mirror to work with as well as an adjustable neck so you can angle it to your preferred position (vertical angle changes not horizontal)—this helps when there are multiple users of different height.Aesthetics:This mirror has a simple modern look to it and it comes in a couple of different color options to fit your space and style. It is something that you’re mounting in your shower and will look at everyday (depending on your shower routine) so besides functionality, it’s nice to enjoy the look of as well. The LEDs have practical application but it also gives it the added “cool” factor which is always nice.Other Small Touchers That Add Big Value:There are some additional touches that are worth mentioning that really make this mirror not only a great buy but a great value as well. There are the LEDs that border the mirror, it isn’t going to illuminate a room but it will help highlight hard to see areas. The flat surface under the mirror is a nice touch because it allows you to place your razor, toothbrush, etc there. Finally there is the built-in squeegee that glides out to help clear your mirror of water that splashes on during your shower. If you are considering a shower mirror, definitely give this one a shot. It is backed by Amazon’s customer service policy and ToilerTree themselves have great customer service that offers support in a very quick manner. I use this mirror daily because I like to shave and brush in the shower as well. In fact, I recently learned that the ideal atmosphere for shaving is in a steamy atmosphere because it opens up your pours and allows for a smooth, pain free shave; so it’s not only more convenient, its better for you too! A very nice mirror system, from mounting, to remaining fog-free, to ease of use, to generous size. I made one small improvement to make it easier for me to use. The included squeegee is not as wide as the mirror, so wiping top to bottom required two swipes to clean the full mirror surface, with the second swipe leaving new droplets behind. Holding the squeegee vertically, it was too tall to lay flat against the mirror from top to bottom, part of the blade would be up on the frame. So I used a razor blade to trim about 1/4 inch of the squeegee blade from each end of the squeegee. Now the blade sits flat against the mirror surface from top to bottom, and it takes one left-to-right pass to wipe the full mirror clean. Good deal! Read more

I normally don't bother leaving reviews but felt the need to in this case. Been using this product for a few months now and am more than pleased. I've had several "fog free" mirrors in the past and they all pale in comparison to this one. I spend about 15-20 min in the shower shaving my head and face and have had no issues with this mirror. $40 for a large, lighted and truly fog free mirror is a bargain if you ask me. Highly recommend Read more

Mirror should be made of glass. It expands as it is filled with water. It makes the face stretch. Not to mention that it still fogs up. The squeegee that comes with it doesn't work for nothing. The light doesn't really laminate much unless your showering in the dark. I'm not gonna return it because it's already mounted on my shower wall. Product needs improvement. Read more

I recently moved into a very small studio flat, with a tiny sink with a mirror and shelves above it. It's impossible to shave or trim a beard, as the hair will get all over the floor and the mirror's shelves. The shower - which is pretty small, too - is the only place I can do that, and I've bought quite a few "fogless" shower mirrors on Amazon now, and they've all been worthless... except for this one. Seriously, if you need a shower mirror, this is the one.The others tend to just be pieces of cheap acrylic that you can buy from China for some pocket money. The suction on them, well, sucks as well, and not in the intended way. Had so many of them just pop off in the middle of the night and scare me half to death. This mirror goes ABOVE and beyond what I wanted. It swaps out cheap suction pads for an INSANELY strong adhesive. I placed mine in a bad spot and had to take the adhesive off, and man, unless you're actively trying to get it off with a knife and a LOT of effort, this mirror is not going ANYWHERE. It tilts to give you an angle if you need it or have people of various heights that need to use it, and even comes with a cute little squeegee! And the customer service has also been outstanding. They're not some random reseller from China promising to replace a poor product with another poor product. It's an American company with an American team that stand behind their invention. It became really obvious to me when I messaged them about my stupid placement of the mirror and they let me know they sell spare adhesive and brackets in case you move house or need to find another place for the mirror. These bits are cheap too! A nice surprise from other companies that charge you an arm and leg for any replacement parts. So the mirror seems like it's really made to last for a long time, no matter where you take it. I can't support this company enough, for MAKING a product that tries (and in my opinion, succeeds) in being better than anything else out there. And isn't just another cheap, tacky item from China being resold that will break in a few months, with an unknown origin, being sold at double the price it's worth.I would recommend being EXTREMELY sure of where you want to put the mirror. Don't be an idiot like me and just base it on where the bracket will go without the mirror. I did that and couldn't adjust my shower head because once I put the mirror on the bracket, it was far too close to the shower head.Have the mirror on the bracket whilst picking a place for the mirror, make sure any bits next to it like the shower head and bracket can move properly, and make sure to 'test' if you can move your arms as you would when having a shower (washing your hair and top part of your body) freely without coming into contact with the mirror. Don't rush out of excitement like I did!Once the mirror is on, it's not up for popping off for adjustments like others. That' s great if you like where it is, because it's safe, secure and where it needs to be. Otherwise, you can remove the bracket with a knife and get replacement adhesives and brackets from Toilettree (the seller), but it's better to get it right the first time. I got the adhesive off with no damage or stains or anything to the tiles in my shower, but it took a lot more effort than I thought it would, because the adhesive on the back is so good!Look no further for a mirror of this type, this is the Olympic gold medal winner. You're not going to find something nearly as good. Read more

It's actually a great product but the backlight stopped working after a couple days with rusted battery contacts and batteries.*I would still highly recommend for shelf for razor is useful.*Easy to install. I do recommend purchasing proper sealant glue so it doesn't fall off the wall as it did with me, despite following the instructions exactly.*The mirror is not made of glass (fortunately for weight/safety), this does mean water marks are more prominent and quickly build up so you cannot see well. After a quick clean with Jiff it comes back to normal again. Read more

Great product, works nicely without drilling holes in the wall and is a good size and stays up so meets all my requirements. Built in squeegy a great idea.. if only all products were made with this level of innovation and simplicity.Led lights aren't enough on their own but why are you showering in the dark with a razerblade anyway? ;) Read more
