I love the color selection of these.They also look way more stylish and chic in your hair over a plain claw. They almost resemble a bow shape with the way they flare out, but more whimsical.There’s a pearlized true white with an opal like look, a black and white, the neutral beige one, and and even some color with a vibrant light and medium blue one.I’m going on vacation soon and I’m so pleased that in this one 4 pack there’s one to match or compliment well with everything I’m bringing. I’m excited to use these for some half up and down looks for night and for twisting hair up on the beach to keep out of the pool and ocean. Even if just used as an accessory like a bow instead of to hold up all your hair it looks great. Practically speaking though it fits all my hair and holds it well. I do think if I put clip in hair extensions in with some more volume and weight though that I may only be able to place one as more of an accessory than trying to hold up the weight of heavy extensions.I love the butterfly shape, too. It’s very feminine and sweet.I like that they are individually wrapped and packaged- so if you wanted to sort of keep one and gift another or if you were breaking up the pack for stockings or Easter baskets it’s easy to break up the 4 pack.I’d rebuy them at this price, although I don’t even feel like I need to, as the color selection is perfect to match anything and everything.They don’t get stuck in my hair or pull out any hair when placing in and removing the way that certain hair ties or scrunchies might.Overall I’d recommend them. These are like giant versions of the popular butterfly clips that I wore in the 90's, but so much sturdier. They are so beautiful in person and bigger than they seemed in the photos. They open pretty wide and have a lot of teeth, so they hold a decent amount of hair and stay put. They are pretty pointy on the tips of the wings, so might not be so comfortable to lean your head back on something while wearing one. I love the look the acetate material creates, they are glossy and remind me of tortoise shell eyeglasses. The colors are really vibrant in person and I am really happy with these so far. Read more

I was under the impression that these things would be smaller. I know they give sizes but I look to references to understand better. In the photo, I see a girl putting in between her bra and it didn’t look large in the photos with their hair. They are pretty big but I still like it. These are subtle but very pretty. They have a pastel shine and glimmer to them. They're very retro! These are only about 2" long (about the size of a ping-pong ball) so they are not big enough to hold a huge amount of hair. For me it works best with a half up/half down look. I also was able to manage a French twist, except clipping it at the top instead of the middle of the twist. The spring is really strong, so when you use one to clip your hair, it really clips it. If you're looking for a retro hair look, go for it. Read more

These are butterfly shaped hair clips. They are in pale pastel colors. I have very long thin hair. These can hold a skinny braid or the front part of my hair back from my eyes. They cannot hold all my hair so this is more of a partial clip. They do jut out pretty far from my head….I could not wear these driving as they would hit the head rest. They are quite pretty; I can definitely see wearing them out, pulling back my eyefall. Read more

My wife loves butterflies. She has never found any butterfly hair clips that she considered adult enough to wear. She fell in love with these as she felt they were subdued enough to wear. I got these because I was feeling the retro 90s vibes! These clips are actually pretty big (about the size of a little Cutie orange). I love the patterning in the plastic which looks kind of like pearlescent resin. The grip is strong and all of the clips come individually packaged, so you can give them as gifts pretty easily!
