My husband and I couldn’t find a baby gate we liked, and it was driving us a little crazy. I finally decided on this one on a whim base on reviews and wish I had ordered it initially. It’s so easy to install, pretty to look at and keeps my baby safe. I bought the extender (a must have) to have it as a a playard (in a oval shape) and my daughter loves it. She’s 10-months now (we’ve been using it since she was just about 9) and pulls herself up on the rungs and so far, so good.**The door auto closes so be careful when you’re leaving the playard. I can see how my baby could be injured but have been successful at keeping her away.We initially had it against the wall in an oval shape (using the wall as support, meaning it wasn’t a complete oval with the panels if that makes sense) and that worked for a couple weeks until my baby started to try to break it down/break out. But then I added the extender for a complete oval (the extender is 2 more panels) and it’s an ideal play yard. The panels also can be tightened or loosened. The only installation is if you add the extender. Otherwise it’s ready to go.One other great thing: my baby has learned independent play because of this system. She has room to play around (more so than a Pack n Play, but she still plays in one as well) and have all her toys in one area. You can’t go wrong with this gate! Read more

We bought one of these wooden gates when our child was born and now six years later we bought additional panels for puppy-proofing our bigger home. The old panels are as good as the new ones, and the new ones perfectly match the old. More expensive than other options but have worked great for us. Look nice, are modular for different arrangements, light enough to move around but heavy enough to stand solidly. Friends who have seen them in action at our place went home and bought some too! This baby fence that simple to use and easy to set up. By adding two panels to the original set it provided more room as my granddaughter grew! It's easier to see through so the baby can keep an eye on us and easy to clean as there are no nooks, just plain straight bars. It is also helping the baby to learn to walk as she pulls herself up and walks along holding the bars. Read more

I bought it to make a barrier around the gas log to prevent kids from touching it. The installation was easy, I just had to purchase extra attachments to the wall from the company website due to none present in the package - I bought 2 complete sets with gates and this one extra was used just for the gas log. The paper with drawing of the holes for mounting is useless, just align mounting hardware where you want it, make marks on the wall, drill the holes and attach with anchors/screws. It’s an easy job if no wires are in the way behind the sheetrock - stud finder with electricity sensor helps a lot. Read more

The play yard is of excellent quality in both looks and utility. I was very impressed with the factory packaging. We use it with two extensions to circle our free standing wood stove. It looks good and is sturdy enough to keep our granddaughter away from the stove. It is easy to fold up and store when she is not here. The rubber cushions under each panel protect our laminate floor and help keep the play yard from sliding around. I purchased this after reviewing all of the feedback from other play yards. I am completely satisfied with this play yard. Read more

One star removed for price. Expensive but this is sturdy I feel safe leaving my 9 month old son to play with his toys with no worries of him climbing out or the playard collapsing. Buy the extension as the 6 panels are too small! Total price is $200 but the peace of mind you'll get knowing your little one is safeis priceless! Read more

I ordered two of these extensions to go with the superyard. The superyard would be way too small without at least one extension. If I had to do it again, I would have probably just purchased two of the 3-in-1 superyards and connected them rather than purchasing two extensions. The extensions are easy to attach and add much needed space to the enclosed area but the superyard by itself is very small. Two superyards attached would be ideal. I had to send one of our extensions back because it was defective, but the other one attached to the superyard quickly and easily. I will replace the extension that was defective if I don't decide to just buy another superyard. In my opinion, depending on your space, one extension is not enough. Read more

We go the extension for the wooden play yard and it makes the play yard being a really big play area. My daughter has no problems playing n there with two other kids. It's also really easy to assemble (5 minutes for me and I'm not handy). The wood looks way nicer than plastic or metal and the quality is very good. Read more
