I FINALLY FOUND "THE" HAT!🥳I have so many different summer hats for my family because I haven't found the perfect one until now! I got the 2-5T hat for my "true to size" 16 month old and it fits great right now and it should easily work for next year and possibly the next! I got two more hats, size 5-10 years, for my two boys who are 3 & 5yo with approx head size 52-53cm circumference and the hats fit perfect!!! All of my kids happily and easily wear their hats consistently when outside. My oldest is a hot box and he loves this hat and never complains that the hat is making him hot. So I do like this hat. But my two year olds head does seem to get super sweaty when wearing it. We wore it outside in the shade around the backyard and the temp was about low 90s and about 10 mins in he took it off and said momma too hot and his head was superrrrr sweaty. So I don’t think there’s any ventilation going on up there. I feel like this hat would be good for like spring time or like fall. But summer is a no go. Read more

This is a great sun hat. It's lovely, practical, and works.We ordered two: the blue and pink hat for our son and daughter. Once we received them, our son tried the hat on and thought the bill made him look like he had a bonnet on, so we returned the blue one. The pink one is adorable on our daughter, and she loves it. Please note, the pink hat is more of a muted grayish pink, but I kind of like that better. It doesn't scream at you that it's pink. The brim was extra long, which I liked since it provides better coverage along with the neck flap. The material is lightweight and repels water slightly. When the hat gets in the pool water by accident, it still does okay with the brim mostly holding its shape. Only concern is the adjustable buckle on the back which is made of a thin plastic; I worry about how long it will hold up. Surprised they didn't go with the typical velcro like most hats these days.Overall I recommend it as a great sun hat for toddlers. Read more

I bought this hat for my 2.5 year old grand daughter who has a fairly large head. It is adjust able and it will be fitting her for several years. I love it. The color, the style, the fabric are all really nice. My daughter absolutely loves this hat! She doesn't like wearing hats so when she grabs it before we go out on her own it makes momma happy. From parents review it is wonderful for the california sun. Rim is large which keeps the sun off of her entire face. The back of hat is adjustable so she will be able to use it for some time. Also the neck cover is light so she doesnt even fuss that it's there. Her head isn't sweaty after wearing it for the afternoon because the material is light and breezy. We used to always get the iPlay sunhats, but were finding them to be too floppy after a while. We kept having to pull the front part off his face and/or tuck it into the hat which defeated the purpose. Love that this one has a stiff visor in the front so it stays in place and keeps the sun out of his face without any trouble. Honestly the whole thing keeps his face and neck covered, so it does exactly what we need it to. We sized up and it seems to be more comfortable for him-- the back has a stretchy part to expand to fit different head sizes, but the smaller size (which he technically falls into) seemed a little snug and he would complain about it being too tight.
