For those with a lot of hair or thick hair:Day 1 I tried the recommended dime size amount. It did nothing.Day 2 I tried three dime sizes: one on each side and the last on the back. Nothing.Day 3 I split my hair in 8-10 different parts and put a dime size on each section. I kid you not, it looked smooth for less than 3 minutes.I’m a really busy mom and I am moving around a lot picking up toddlers and picking up after them. I needed something that would make my hair go from spongy, frizzy to polished or at least look like I styled it smooth. My hair type over all is Very healthy and wavy. I’ve also tried Biosilk Silk Infusion, Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum, Shea Moisture Black Castor Leave in Conditioner, and those were also not enough for me. I’ve been using this for over 15 years, such a great product! It smells amazing and leaves your hair feeling so silky without being greasy or like you have product build up. This is the authentic product. I don't use a lot of hair products other than my color treated shampoo and conditioner but I love this smoothing cream. I use it after I get out of the shower and let it set in my hair for at least 30 mins and it makes it sooooo soft. I don't even need detangler since I started using this. I have dry, naturally wavy/curly hair and have always needed a detangler. I use this instead of detangler and it make it look so much more smoother. I highly recommend it. I love this product so much. I have highlighted hair and it was looking rough. I needed something that did it all let’s face it we want the hair product to be magic.This makes my hair smooth, smells so good and it doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it feel greasy. I apply it all over mostly on the ends but some on top as well while it is wet along with a heat protectant. After it’s dry I apply some more the same way. My hair is the perfect storm of fine and frizzy (and ever since a severe illness a few years back, it's thinner than it once was). Most products I've tried have weighed my hair down and left it limp and greasy-looking. I had given up and resigned myself to living in ponytails until my fellow fine-haired friend introduced me to this wonderful substance. It smells great and leaves my hair soft, shiny, and smooth, instead of flat and dirty-looking, like most products. It's a little on the pricey side (for my tastes), but a little goes a long way, so it lasts forever.On really humid days I still get a bit of frizz, but I'm giving it five stars anyway because there's only so much any product can do. I am not sure about the good reviews of this product? It smells weird, like a cheap hair product from the dollar store, it is quite on the greasy side and I just cant seem to get it work. I would say it does reduce the frizz a little bit, but thats it. It doesnt help with humidity, it doesnt really smooth and it is just overall a quite crappy average product. I am confused by the good reviews though and I am thinking that they may have changed the formula recently? Read more
