After months of research, I decided to pull the trigger on the new Thule Spring Stroller despite not having many reviews. Hopefully my review helps others trying to decide as well.I needed a stroller in between light-weight and all terrain for my 2 year old. I wanted something compact but sturdier than most umbrella/ light weight strollers with the maneuverability of a 3 wheel stroller. I’ve compiled a list of pros/cons in comparison to other strollers that I have used (single Bob, Chicco Activ3, City Mini Gt, summer infant 3D light). It arrived packaged really well—double boxed and all parts were protected in foam and it arrived in perfect condition after being shipped all the way to Japan. My toddler is 30lbs and 35 inches tall.Pros: much more compact than Bob, City Mini and Chicco, smooth ride comparable to Bob and City Mini, great maneuverability, large and easily accessible under carriage basket, quality materials, large and extendable sunshade, light and easy fold, price point (purchased for $243) and I can clip my diaper bag on the handle while the seat is empty without it tipping over.Cons: I cannot maneuver it with one hand, the seat is not very deep and my toddler doesn’t sit as comfortably as other strollers. I have trouble going over 2-3 inch curbs and get stuck quite often but I would say the 5 point harness is my least favorite feature. Each of the 4 clips have to be clipped in individually and in a certain order (sides slid in place first and then the shoulder straps clipped) which is extremely challenging with a bucking toddler that doesn’t want to be strapped in.Overall, I am partial to my Bob Single Stroller but it’s way too large for what I need right now. The Thule Spring stroller will be perfect for crowded, tight spaces and narrow doorways and will fit I the back of my small car. Read more

I LOVE this stroller! We have an UPPAbaby Cruz that my mom now uses when the baby is with her and we also have a Bumbleride jogging stroller. It took me a few times to find the right lightweight stroller ( I tried Maclaren and Baby Jogger) but I’m so happy I finally decided on this one. Thule is built so well. The straps, which to me is a big deal, are so easy to work, plus it’s super easy to put together. It’s not the lightest lightweight stroller but it is well worth the long search for the right one. Thank goodness for Amazon’s easy returns! The Majolica color is so gorgeous in person so if you’re considering this color I say go for it! It looks exactly like it does in the picture with the models. The basket is nice and big, the handle bar is soft, the steering is so easy, one handed fold is an amazing feature! You will not regret choosing this stroller so definitely buy it! Read more

I've had this stroller for over a month now and have been impressed by its versatility. So far I've been able to use it on sandy, rocky, pacific northwest trails and concrete terrain. It has worked well on all of them. The fold-up, open is really as easy as proclaimed. I am able to one-handedly break the stroller down and lift it into the back of my car all while holding my little one.My only complaint is that the green is more of a khaki/tan color. Not as olive as I presumed. Read more

Nice stroller for the following reasons:-Easy fold-light-quality materials including wheels-narrow-stands independently when foldedDislikes:-When used with the chicco newborn car seat adapter you have to remove the adapter prior to being able to fold it (I wish I knew this before buying)-basket fits one large diaper bag but not much else Read more

I loved this stroller and had great plans for us. However, someone stole it out of my car three weeks after I bought it and our time was cut short. I will do my best to describe what I liked and didn’t like even though I didn’t have it for long:PROS- Super compact! Could fit easily in my car with lots of stuff- Lightweight! Easy to put in the car and carry around while folded- Easy to maneuver with one hand- Smooth as butter to push- Huge shade that is great for sunny days- Reclines way far back and is great for naps- Large storage area that is easy to get stuff in and out ofCONS- A bit wide when trying to go through small spaces, the wheels catch on stuff- No cup holder, must purchase separately for $25!- Black seat and straps show every crumb and smear of foodAll in all, I highly recommend! Also, lock your car! Read more

Wow! I love this stroller. We have urban glide 2 and a very compact travel stroller, but I felt like we needed an "in between" for walks around town since our city is filled with narrow, bumpy, cobblestone streets. This stroller is perfect for the rough city terrain and maneuvers well in tight spaces thanks to the narrow profile and single front wheel. It also folds itself up at the touch of a button and easily fits in the trunk of small car (the jogging stroller is too large). My husband thought I was crazy for getting a third stroller, but even now he agrees, this is so worth it!Materials and construction are high quality and I love the Thule overall look and feel. It's just a bit sportier than other brands. The olive color is more safari khaki, but I like the look. Read more

Got this because I wanted a lightweight stroller, that could possibly do more on some terrain. This stroller is great so far, looks so nice, easy to install, nice and lightweight & super easy to close and open. Went to the beach with it and it did better than my Vista & is good on light terrain.Cons- I feel like there isn’t the best back support for the baby compared to my Vista. But compared to other lightweight strollers I think its the same. And no adjustable footrest- not a huge deal but the stroller seems better for a older baby than a younger one. Read more

This stroller is amazing for your every day workhorse -- it's easily handled with one hand, it has lots of storage, and the HUGE air vent makes it amazing for hot climates. We used this in Vancouver (on the beach and in the forests), in Maui (in the hot hot heat) and in LA (for our every day errands). And yes, be purchased THREE so we can have one in every location!!! EDIT: I went from a 2-star rating to a 4-star, because the Thule customer service was super responsive, agreed the colour was off, and are sending me the canopy part of the stroller in a different colour.Purchased the olive Thule Spring which looks lovely in all their staged photos, but was very disappointed to receive a sandy-beige/pea soup/vomit-coloured stroller instead. I wouldn't normally be so petty, but with tax, this stroller comes to over 500$ so I expect it to deliver on all promises, colour included. Read more

After watching online videos showcasing Thule spring as the best stroller , we bought it. Have used it for one year now. The only thing good about it is the folding mechanism and it's small size to pack away. But that's not the point of stroller. It should be designed to give kid comfort , not only give parents ease of folding. The stroller fails in giving comfortable seating position to baby (less than 18 month) , seat buckles too big for baby (under 18 months) the seat is sooo wide baby keeps moving and can't feel snug, the seat has no cushioning it's like laying your baby on parachute material , there is no foot rest ( the one they advertised seems to be for 4 year old) , seat doesn't go purely flat for sleeping position , there is no bar handle that kid can hold onto , no snack tray or cup holder at this price point. You can confirm all these points by looking at product video. Our baby is less than 18 month. Maybe for older kids this stroller maybe fine Read more

I wish I loved this stroller like I did 6 months ago, but it's incredibly squeaky at the wheels even with oil it's still so loud. I love it's sleekness and ability to fold. I don't know why I was expecting it to be lighter though, you will need both hands to put away. I went with a grey canopy so if it fades it will still look good. I wish for the price point it would come with a cup holder for me (added a universal caddy), a bumper bar and snack tray. My son prefers a more upright seat but the bumper bar fixes that. Again, wish that wasn't an additional price. The under storage is great, love the little pouch behind his seat too. The locking front wheel is a nice feature. It's overall a good stroller but not sure I would have purchased it had I known it would be so squeaky and have so many necessary add-ons. Read more

Great stroller, so easy to put together! However the olive green color is a very light green/beige. I spoke to Thule customer service, sent them a photo and they did say the color varies in lighting... but did offer to send me a new shade in a different color. I received my new sun shade quickly and love the grey! Read more

Only one design flaw. You can’t clip just the side straps but need to clip both the top straps and the aide straps for all to stay in place Read more
