I study supplements but this was accidental, I read zinc helps with sleep so started taking zinc, vitamin b6 p5p, boron, magnesium, before bed, I noticed I felt sleepy, cut down Xanax for a few nights decided to stop and just take the supplements it worked . My kids have been taking this for about year now with no problem at all until tonight that I opened a new sealed bottle. The capsules were dark orange instead of the white capsule that we had before. I counted the content and it was 114 pcs instead of 60. I’m scared to give this to my kids since I’m not sure if the content is fake or if it’s another vitamin/mineral. Due to stress and PCOS, I have struggled with hormonal acne for several years. Other great quality brands of zinc helped a tiny bit, but this specific formula literally shows improvement in one dose, two days after taking it. Not only did my acne from the past two months fade, but the bumps from irritation on my scalp thanks to a new shampoo are half the size. I've had on and off sleep issues for 6 years since I became a mom. I've had mood issues up the wahzoo. The week before my period, sometimes up to 2 weeks before it, I was non functional. This is amazing stuff. I did the taste test for zinc and came out super deficient, so I figured I’d try a good quality supplement and see if I felt any different. After 1, yes 1, day of taking it in the morning, I slept through the night for the first time in months. Nothing else has helped and sure enough sleep problems can be a sign you need more zinc. Now, I’ve been taking 1 pill in the morning with my other supplements before my coffee and I’ve had no tummy upset or anything. I’ve been sleeping great consistently too. I don’t feel the need to take 2 since this is highly absorbable compared to other zinc types and zinc is a mineral you don’t want too much of. The capsules are small and easy to swallow. Five stars! I started taking Zinc to help with some skin issues on my face and switched from Chelated Zinc to Thorne Picolinate Zinc after reading blogs/recommendations on the type of Zinc for acne. I have to say after much trial and error that this Zinc is the cause of a lot of stomach upset for me. I can say with certainty that it is the zinc causing my stomach issues as I have stopped taking it for a couple weeks then started back up with the same results within a week. I'm not entirely sure it did much for my skin while I was taking it but I know I can't physically stand the discomfort this causes my stomach when I am taking it. I'm also not sure how many people this affects as most of the reviews say this is easy on your stomach. Everybody is different though and I think it's worth a shot at the price point, but keep in mind if you start getting stomach pains and issues within a week or so as it could be zinc. Read more

Been taking Zinc picolinate (22mg) for years. I won’t say which other brands I’ve used, but suffice to say never had an issue. With this brand, it seems to bring on severe anxiety and moodyness.
