For starters I gave 4 stars because the flavor since the taste plain, is just awful. Tastes like dirt and the vitamins leave a film on your tongue after. But after that passes 1 min later you do eventually taste the orange/vanilla haha. Probably why this one’s significantly cheaper than the chocolate flavor. HOWEVER, add a banana and/or other complimentary fruits and it’s no problem, tastes like a vitamin Orange Julius.Thorne gets 5 stars in my opinion when it comes to quality, cleanliness and bang for your buck to where the manufacturers at most of these vitamin places are gross, filthy, and not quality so you don’t even absorb what you’re being marketed that you get! You’d be surprised. I’ve heard from people that visited Thornes manufacturing said they were the most superior of them all on cleanliness and quality. So whenever I’m not sure of what company to get a supplement from I look to see if Thorne has it for that reason and I’ve never been disappointed.I like this for my eczema as it doesn’t have copper. Excess copper in the liver triggers eczema. Something I learned recently so I stopped my liquid chlorophyll and check my supplements on. Also my histamine intolerance triggers eczema too. Things often in protein shakes are cinnamon and many types of probiotics (like lactobacillus) trigger a histamine response where I get hives, itch, eczema all over, break outs, inflammation etc. With this I’m in the clear!
