When I found this product, I was fooled into thinking it was the 'real' Thicker Fuller Hair, but re-branded. I was wrong. It is a completely different product with completely different ingredients and made by a completely different company.The 'real' Thicker Fuller Hair shampoo was distributed by NewHall Labs. It was a fantastic shampoo! Unfortunately that company went out of business. The 'real' Thicker Fuller Hair was the only shampoo out of several dozens that worked really great with my hair, except for John Master's Organics (very expensive but awesome).This product has an over-powering scent, doesn't do much to make my hair thicker or fuller, and requires washing more frequently. I have very fine hair. I’ve tried so many high end products for fine hair and none of them worked. When I read the product reviews, I decided to try it along with it’s conditioner. The first time I used both products, I was a little disappointed the conditioner , weighed my hair down. However, my hair did feel soft. This product does add volume to my hair. I was actually amazed at the difference it made. My hair has been thinning for years and I’ve tried lots of products to regrow my hair, all to no avail. The shampoo works very well. I have long fine hair which is healthy but lays flat after a few minutes of Styling. This new version of this thicker fuller shampoo gives me the volume and thickness just as good, if not better, than the previous formula. Was skeptical after reading the other reviews but pleasantly pleased after trying it. It is pretty thick but if you add more water to it while shampooing it’s totally fine. Just means you can use less and it will last longer. As far as the scent, it’s not bad. I think it smells fine and I am pretty sensitive to scents. I do like the previous formula’s smell better but it’s no big deal because this shampoo really works. Definitely recommend! Read more

I've used the old formula for years and was disappointed to find out it was discontinued. I was apprehensive to order the new formula because it is much more expensive, but decided to try it. I'm pleasantly surprised. The new formula is thicker and more concentrated, so only a small amount is needed and it goes a long way. Although I can't expect it to grow new hair on my head, it definitely increases the thickness and volume of the hair I have. With use over several weeks, my hair feels soft and not flat. I had high hopes for this item, and the conditioner, based upon the rave reviews. Both the shampoo and the conditioner dry out my fine, smooth hair, and upon using my usual hair pick, I lost hair I was hoping these products would help me keep. I returned the conditioner, due to my finished hair being so dry and still tangled, but kept the shampoo and am combining it with a good conditioner to help allay the dryness...hoping it WILL live up to the reviews more, after longer use. The smell is interesting...kind of like going into the garden and grabbing a handful of greenery. It's not unpleasant, and it lightens a lot after the product is rinsed out.
