We love this toothpaste. It’s free of all the major no-nos we work so hard to avoid and the flavor is not minty. Which is hard to find in the world of toothpastes. My son calls the minty flavors spicy. He likes the theodent toothpaste because it doesn’t burn his tongue- which means it is easier to get him to brush his teeth. The price is super high, though. We love this toothpaste because it’s the only one my daughter (age 11) will use. I am not positive how good it is for cavities because getting her to brush regularly is a challenge-so is it the toothpaste or her lack of brushing. We are now getting on her case about brushing regularly so I will update at next dental appointment. But if you kiddo doesn’t like minty, fruity flavors.....this chocolate flavor is a light flavor and loved by my kiddo. Read more
I am a dentist and was recommended this toothpastes from another dentist. My kids absolutely love it and can’t wait to brush their teeth. The active bromide is better than fluoride and safe if a child swallows. I now sell this product in my dental practice. Read more
Absolutely the only toothpaste my son will use. I've bought this toothpaste for the last 4-5 years for my son who will not use minty or fruity toothpaste. He won't use anything else; he loves it. My daughter on the other hand...she only uses fruity toothpaste so this one isn't for her despite the fact that she loves chocolate. Anything to get them to brush their teeth! I also like the fact that the opening if this tube is smaller than most tubes, so you don't use a lot and don't get a big glob on their smaller brushes. Read more
Kids love the taste and I love the ingredients or the lack of.Downfall is the cap. They never get it on good as it’s just a push top, no screw on so if it doesn’t go on all the way down the toothpaste in the tube dries out and U have an issue getting toothpaste out. They also cracked a few caps as well. Please just add a screw top basic cap. I am wasting more than I am using. Read more
Love it this was a game changer for brushing teeth in our home and I am very pleased with the results as is our pediatric specialist dentist.Although the price seems a bit inflated I will continue to pay it because it genuinely results in the kids brushing not only without protest but well and this less concern of dental issues. My six year old son thinks this is the best stuff on planet earth! It is expensive, but the tube was a decent size. I like that it is natural, safe, & fluoride free. I don't have to worry about what my son might be ingesting, and I don't have to struggle to get him to brush his teeth anymore. I let him try it out when it came in the mail (before dinner). He didn't want to eat right away because he said his mouth tasted so good. Gave him delicious smelling chocolate breath! Read more
I gave this toothpaste last year as a stocking stuffer and it was requested for this year! My little granddaughters love it! And it is not toxic if swallowed, rebuilds the enamel of their teeth, and since it tastes good they are willing to brush and brush longer! What's not to like about that! (Unless it is the tube itself! They need to re-engineer it. It's awful and I suspect costs more than a normal tube. :( ) Read more
I have tried many many kids toothpastes over the years, mainly because one of my twins has ASD & SPD. It is a rarity to find a toothpaste that does not make him distressed, wretch or vomit, so for this reason alone I’ll keep this stuff coming. He likes the smell & the taste. Says it’s “chocolate frosting” & will happily let me brush his teeth & often he will continue the process himself (unheard of). It’s helped his sensitivity (mine too- kicks sensodyne’s butt in that dept. In my case literally within two uses) but the reason why I love this the most is how much it is helping to improve my sons first two lower adult teeth-which have sadly came in with bruises on the enamel (caused by trauma injury from a bad fall). Yes it’s completely superficial & cosmetic (our lovely dentist says the teeth are heathy despite appearances which I know is the main thing) but it made me a bit sad. His milk teeth were lovely & white & the new ones looked uncared for. This paste over the last few months of diligent treatment has really helped (I guess partly repairing his damaged enamel). I’ll continue using this on my mission to make my sons smile As gorgeous as pos. Aesthetically I like the packaging. It’s luxurious & different (gives off a decadent Arabic vibe). The gold lid takes a bit of getting use to but gotta admit I like the way it squeezes out in a long rectangular fashion, precise & easy to control. Oh & I don’t need to worry should my kids swallow this. It just makes dental care easier & better. I think it’s 100% worth the money. Read more
I thought the price of this toothpaste was ridiculous at first but now it’s arrived and been used this evening I can honestly say it’s actually well worth it. My 3 year old, who it was bought for, just actually let me brush his teeth properly for the first time ever and enjoyed it. Usually he will only allow a pinhead size amount on his toothbrush of normal kids toothpaste and even then he spits it out and won’t open his mouth/turns his head around. As soon as he smelt this toothpaste he was happy for me to start brushing. He asked me to brush them again and again...he’s looking forward to his morning brush. Result! Read more
I got this toothpaste in the hope it would encourage my 4 year old to brush his teeth as he really got upset about doing it and would refuse to. He is Autistic so this was a last hope as we had tried other toothpaste toothbrushes and nothing would help. Initially he was still refusing to until he realised that it did taste of chocolate. But I had to brush my teeth with it as well for him to try. Now he is will happily brush his teeth and on occasions asked for more toothpaste to still brush them. So for us it's been a great purchase. Read more
I have looked at this for ages but I couldn't justify the price for toothpaste. I gave it a go as I couldn’t find anything else suitable for a fussy boy.I think it’s great and I can see a definite brightness and whiteness to our teeth even after a single use so maybe that’s why it’s pricy - it’s very good and instant teeth brightener. It also leaves you teeth feeling incredibly smooth ...never experienced this with other toothpastes. It was worth a try & I’m impressed. Read more
The tube is uncomfortable to get the paste out, especially when less than a half is left. The cap breaks and cracks every single time (this is my third tube). Why is packaging so poor? Expensive for what it is. I would rather buy a smaller and more user friendly tube. Read more
