About this item PHYSICAL & MENTAL BOOST - Theacrine is a natural compound found in certain tea plants and coffee species. It may help increase energy, concentration and stamina in both physical and mental activities. You can use it as motivation aid for fitness, lifting and sports or as a work focus enhancer.* LIKE CAFFEINE, BUT BETTER – Unlike many other stimulants, Theacrine is very similar to caffeine but doesn’t cause the same side effects as caffeine. You won’t have to keep increasing the dosages to feel the same effects.* STACK WITH CAFFINE – Theacrine works synergistically with caffeine, meaning that it can be taken with a source of caffeine which actually helps Theacrine become more bioavailable. Plus, this combination supports cognitive functions.*

Theacrine is very dose dependent. They say it’s biphasic, but I think it may be more than 2.Low doses are supposed to be relaxing and high doses stimulating. It doesn’t really work exactly that way for me. For me, I find multiple low doses (about 60mg) per day work best. Your mileage may vary.I also find that, disgustingly enough, it works better if I drink that 60mg, instead of ingesting it in a capsule. And just like with tea (which theacrine is derived from), I feel it even more on an empty stomach.Theacrine is said to work like a baby modafinil. That is, you don’t get the incredible energy highs of caffeine. You don’t feel “cracked out”. Rather, you clear the cobwebs and find yourself more capable of doing things. Some would call this subtle, but if you actually need to get things done in life, then it’s quite obvious. It’s only subtle when you’re sitting down and doing nothing. It also modulates the dopaminergic reward system. It’s not supposed to stimulate the dopamine system itself (i.e., it’s not an agonist), but rather make the receptors more sensitive to dopamine you naturally produce. This means that those little bumps of dopamine you get from work (or even video games), just seem to work better. Cool.Overall, a great molecule. The lack of the sweaty, heart racing, “cracked out” type stimulation effects is why long term users recommend you still use this with a little bit of caffeine. Many people will drop their caffeine consumption in half and replace that with theacrine. I’m still in the early days of experimenting with and understanding theacrine myself, but I think that’s a nice plan. Read more

I limit my coffee consumption to 1 cup in the morning when I get up. But what to do if I get sleepy later in the day? I have to be productive and function well. 1 little, easy to swollow cap of Theacrine, gets rid of the sleepies, and no jitters. In fact I don't feel anything except good energy. I only take Theacrine as needed and it does not seem to be habit forming. You can pay 2X as much for the same ingredient, same amount . This product is the best value I have found so far. Read more

Too much caffeine makes me irritable, so I decided to try Theacrine, after doing some research online. I find that it gives me a good mental boost, just like caffeine, but without the irritability. Still working out the best dosage for various uses. Read more

I was really excited about this. But alas, the effect on me was like taking caffeine pills. I was very agitated, not happy. Also, got a headache. Read more
