We wanted to start a business that would allow us to homeschool our two children and be able to work from home while doing so. We love seeing families enjoying our swings and creating memories that will last! Shop Our Swings! Why did you choose the name "The Salty Nest"? The Salty Nest name came to us back in 2018 when we were visiting family in South Africa. We knew that we wanted to start a small business so we decided that the first step to bring this idea to life would be to give it a name. I often call myself "Mama Bird" and we loved the idea of using the word "Nest" instead of home. We are surfers and ocean lovers. There is nothing better than that salty hair and sandy feet feeling of getting home from the beach. This is when "The Salty Nest" was born. It's us, our home, The Salty Nest. So far we LOVE this swing!! Maybe has had a ball in it! My 4 and 7 year old also took turns and it held them! I was more worried about the branch breaking than the swing!Super easy to put together. My husband used his Boy Scout skills and tied awesome knots.I love the carabiners that it hangs on. Makes for easy put away at night. Also love the ease of adjusting the height.It does get dirty easily but that’s to be expected for an outside swing. Read more
My husband & I love this baby swing. Love that it's made by a fellow husband & wife. Love that it looks far more expensive than the actual cost. We're crazy about the 'coconut white' color we selected. Happy that it can be hung indoors or out. We decided to hang it outside on the patio & it looks so good with our white & teak patio furniture. Took us about an hour to build together, but building our new baby stuff has been half of the fun! It feels super secure & we're looking forward to swinging the baby in this bad boy. Read more

However, I went out on a limb and bought this even though it had no reviews... end it is absolutely amazing my 6 month old has been hanging out in while we are all hanging outside and he couldn’t be happier! We thought we were going to have a problem installing it but we Reached out and they answered all our questions. This swing is perfect for calming down the baby when he is fussy. I bought it for my daughter to use with her 9month old son; I’m going to get one for my house too because he is so content when he is using it.
