I think that I bought this from the lightning deal page. I thought that it would be a good lamp for camping. I didn’t have to wait that long. The power went out. I have 2-9 year old little rescue dogs, one weighing 12lbs and the other a whopping 5lbs. They are house trained to “go” in a corner of the basement. Before I bought these lamps I had to get up in the middle of the night to let them go downstairs. I don’t have to now because I have 2 of these lamps for the stairs and one for the spare bedroom that the grandkids sleep in. Would be 5 stars if the light just stayed on a little longer! It doesn’t stay on long enough for a Diaper change and I find myself dancing and waving my arms to get it to go back on. Other than that it’s perfect, not too bright and very cute. Read more

I love this light. I've actually purchased a second right after this. My toddler has recently started with being scared of the dark and this light is perfect I have placed one in the bathroom for him for any middle of the night bathroom breaks and one in his bedroom. Yowza my corneas!! This thing is insanely bright and no way to turn it down. I bought this to use as a way to light up the nursery for midnight diaper changes without needing to turn on the main light. Well needless to say I can see! Baby can see! We all can see! Motion detection works great. I’ll be keeping it since there really isn’t anything I’ve found that works on motion detection and that is bright enough. I have this light on my mother's nightstand. She's 93. She still heads to the bathroom by herself. The light comes on from about 15 feet away. It runs on 4 C batteries. It is bright enough to give enough light to a master bedroom. You "could" read a book while sitting next to it. You can see where you are walking and what you are doing from about ten feet away. This is one of the best lamps anyone could use for night feedings or diaper changes. The biggest issue is the motion detection will go off all night long with snow actual motion. But if you walk in in the middle of the night it definitely goes off. I would recommend but not for motion. I liked this light because it is small for the light that it gives out. I use it at the front door. When I come in I don't have to fumble around in the dark looking for the light. It also saves on the electric bill. You don't have to remember to turn it off. Update. I purchased 2 additional lamps. One where I don't have to look for the light switch, in the basement. And in the kitchen, don't have to look for a light switch. They are portable. No outlet needed. Read more

I bought this lamp for the playroom because my boys kept playing with the bulbs in regular lamps. This lamp would be better for a nursery, which it is mostly made for; but I was hoping it would be a little brighter. It was nice for a night light for when I came home at night because it was in the room I would first walk into. The batteries do not last long on it at all though. Read more
