I realize this is a mask, but was anxious to try it (as a replacement for the ultra expensive Christophe Robin prickly pear product) so I used it in the shower today. I have long, thick, partially curly hair that's dry and hasn't been cut since November. After blow drying my hair, forgetting I used this new product, I though, hmmm, my hair seems so smooth today, unusual since I didn't really flat iron it, and then I remembered - I USED THIS. So... so far seems great! I'm going to give a longer treatment a try, but I'm sure it will be a great help for my quarantine, nearly Cousin It hair.And btw, if you think this large jar is expensive, again, I was buying Christophe Robin's prickly pear treatment that is $12.94 PER OUNCE if you buy the smallest size (1.7 oz.). Love love love this. My hair LOVES conditioner so adding this to the mix has been so beneficial. I use it the night before wash day. Hair is noticeably softer. I still use a deep conditioner after I wash my hair but only leave it in about 15 mins instead of the 45mins I used to. Read more

This brand is the best! I love it. I know it's a cheeky review but my children have thick, kinky, dry, gets tangled for days hair. This brand has helped me go from dreading doing my children's hair to looking forward to it. I don't know if I actually have the time to keep doing an overnight mask because it takes a long time for my hair to dry the next day and I'm trying to stay away from too much heat. I was excited to try this product considering the fact that so many other Mane Choice products have worked on my hair. Let me start by saying that this smells AMAZING!! My hair felt so soft the morning after washing this out of my hair. My only hang up is that it can be a bit runny so make sure that you sleep with extra towels or something on your pillow. Love this product. After I received it, I tried it that night. I'm glad I read the instructions, because I was going to wash my hair, and the instructions say to apply to dry, unclean hair. I separated into sections, and saturated the ends and worked my way up to my roots. I twisted it up in a clip until I went to bed. I then put a shower cap on. Other reviews stated it was crusty and stiff when it dried. And it was, but when I woke the next morning, it was soft and damp, so I think my body heat under the shower cap worked with it. I also left it on for the whole 12 hours (8pm-8am). Following the instructions, I rinsed it out, and instead of washing, you add more conditioner. I rinsed that, towel dried, and applied the usual tiny drops of argan oil. I let it air dry. I couldn't believe how great it looked without me even styling it! So smooth and shiny! Some reviewers state they didn't like the smell. I didn't think it was too bad. To me, it smelled like a Redkin thermal protect product I used to use. A lot of those thermal products have the same scent to them, so that is the best comparison I can come up with. But it is not bad. This conditioner totally exceeded my expectations! Read more
