This is hands down the best gel I have ever used. It's not the hardest gel, meaning that my hair is not stiff as a board nor is it crunchy, but I never really cared for that. I just put up with the hard crunchiness to tone down the frizz. This gel makes gets my curls popping, and my buns sleek and shiny without the stiff hardness. My hair does flake up after 2-3 days, but I expected that since I use another brand that I love for my leave in. Most natural hair brands formulations tend to clash with each other. Read more

This is the best gel I've ever used. Gives me the same result as Eco without the hard and crunchy curls! I have 4c hair and I love all this so much! I've only used it a week so I'm not sure if it's helping with growth but I'm excited to try more Mane Choice products. Each one I've used so far has done wonders. I use it on soaking wet hair (4a/4b) and my curls clump together with no frizz! The smell is strong but doesn't linger. It's not the normal gel consistency which i also like because a little goes a long way. If you use too much your hair will be crunchy and flaky. I've mixed it with a few different moisturizers and so far no flakes AFTER my hair was dry. I was nervous about flakes a couple times lol. The reason for 4 stars is mine arrived open. I'm talking the bag had a huge hole ripped in it that the product fit thru and no seal on the actual gel. I also saw no return option which is why I forced myself to use it.
