Been using this for awhile.our child has mixed hair w/curls.just dont use to much.it can become a lil greasy& weigh the hair down.We take a break & switch out the product.then go back.UPDATE: this product ate up our childs lenses.Were NOT happy about it.we had to buy 2 new paid of lenses for her glasses.because we couldn't figure out why her lenses had little dots on them.we showed her eye doctor& he said thats weird.I usually just spray water, but the second time.I just sprayed a little bit on her pony tail& it got on her lenses.i cleaned them off& yep.honest isnt honest anymore.It shouldn't leave like a melted speck.1star!!!!! Effective for detangling, even under disaster conditions--Before and after pics included.Sooo...I had a real nightmare of matted knots on my head. My hair is baby fine, very fragile, poker straight, and very thick. My sleep bonnet went missing, my brushes went missing, and I'd given up my bed to a friend in dire straits and was sleeping on a cordoroy couch. I've been narrowly avoiding foreclosure during the pandemic, and truly didn't have the money to spare to buy extras of something I *knew* I had... I just couldn't find it. I work from home, with no video conference meetings, so I typically just put my hair up and tried to find the missing items while trying not to think about the growing rat's nest on my head.The cordoroy was causing mats I couldn't guard against because of the missing bonnet, and I couldn't brush them out because I couldn't find my brush, and finger combing wasn't cutting it.This went on for weeks before I bit the bullet (yes, I routinely washed my hair-- I just couldn't brush it out)--the mats were several inches deep, thick, and wide. If a brush and detangler didn't work, I was resigned to cutting it all off. You can see a bit of how bad the problem was in the before photo.I settled the honest company's detangler, a detangler brush, and a wide toothed comb because they had good reviews, were economical, and would get here FAST. As you can see--I was approaching the point of no salvaging my hair, but I at least wanted to try.I nearly gave up a couple of times, but I finally triumphed. The scent is reminiscent of an orange creamsicle, very sweet, but not offensive to me. The formula seemed nice and lightweight, it made my hair feel softer and more moisturized, and most importantly, performed the desired task of acting like near magical WD40 for hair in loosening up and helping unsnarl even the worst knots and mats. My hair in the 'after' photo is still full of detangler--but absolutely tangle free, and you can see the dramatic difference. Aside from blocking out my face, no alterations were done to the photos.As a result, I highly recommend the honest company's detangler for tackling truly horrific hair disasters. This is my favorite detangler. It smells awesome and never weighs down my hair. I try to avoid silicone and this is silicone free. I bleached my hair beyond repair and ended up getting a very short pixie cut. Now it's past my shoulders and I still spray this in my towel dried hair before combing. I've tried other spray conditioners and this is the best. I reccomend this to friends and family all the time. Read more

I wish I could give this product 10 stars for its amazing scent! It smells like a creamsicle and is quite literally the best hair detangler I've ever used in more than 30 years of having long hair. I have to mention that I'm usually very sensitive to smells but the smell of this product does not bother me at all, probably because it is natural. I will absolutely be buying this product again! I purchased this to supplement a sub-par conditioner that I was trying to muscle through using, but it didn't really work for me. Firstly, the orange cream scent is sickly sweet. Secondly, it didn't really seem to do all that much in the way of detangling. I still had plenty of knots to work through after spraying this liberally on my long, fine hair. Wouldn't purchase again. My daughter is almost 6 months old and her hair is abnormally long, stick straight, and wispy. She is in that stage where she rolls all over the floor and her hair gets tangled and messy. This spray is perfect! It is a nice weight, doesn't make her hair seem greasy by any means, gives it a bit of texture and weight so it isn't flying away everywhere and it smells really nice. She was having some dry scaly cradle cap type patches as well and this leave in conditioner has helped with that a lot. They have been disappearing since I started using this product. A little goes a long way with it too, I imagine one bottle will last at least 2-3 months. For the price it's already a great value, but it really is a quality product as well. I'm glad I found it, I have used other leave in conditioner de tangling sprays before and they leave hair feeling greasy or you can feel the product in the hair, I like that this isn't that way. The product off the bat smells really good, and it feels gentle against the hair. It helps to detangle my hair, yes, but the only reason why I rated it 4 instead of 5 is that I tried other hair detanglers that were more effective than this. Smells super good but the smell doesn’t stay in your hair for too long. It leaves your hair looking nice but nothing crazy. Definitely get it though if you wanna try it out. Less knots which is good cuz I don’t brush my hair after showers, if you’re the same then I highly recommend. Read more
