My 2 month old had horrible scaley cradle cap. I used Elizabeth Parker cradle cap baby balm and left it on for an hour. Then I used the Frida system with regular Johnson's baby shampoo. The brush didn't do much but the COMB! OMG this comb is amazing.Sorry for the gross picture but as you can see, it works! Read more

My four month old has stubborn cradle cap that I have been working to get off for months. I have tried brushes, combs, shampoos, etc. (some of them Fridababy) but either nothing worked or the results were so minimal that I doubted if it was ever going to be completely resolved. Then came this Fridababy miracle product! If there had been a second adult human around or it was deemed safe to take my hands off the baby I would have snapped a photo of how amazingly (disgustingly) well this product worked. I did couple the use with the Mustela cradle cap foaming shampoo (also highly recommend), which I had used once before without this system and had some luck with. I pumped the foam on the sponge and rubbed it on his noggin, then used the brush side to really rub it in. At this point I didn’t see much happening, and the shampoo instructions say to leave on 1-2 minutes, so I started washing the rest of him. (Time passes.) Cue the magic comb finisher! I ran the comb once over his head and the amount of gunk that came up was unbelievable! I was fascinated by how well it was lifting up the stubborn flakes. I ran the comb through about five more times and rinsed his head. I could have kept going, but didn’t want to irritate his skin. After he was dried off I ran a soft bristle brush through his hair and more flakes were coming off, but his head already looks a million times better! I rinsed everything with warm water and gentle soap afterwards, especially that comb which still had some funky residue in it, and set it to dry in the little caddy it came with. The comb that came with the system said it could be used wet or dry so I will give it a go without the other parts and report back - I am a little worried that if used dry it will pull out some of his hair, but we will at least attempt it.If you are having any trouble with stubborn cradle cap you NEED this (the Mustela shampoo is probably a great bet too and smells pretty)!!Update: used the comb on dry hair the next day and it continued to get some of the flakes off, but I did notice that it was also pulling out some of his hair as well. He didn’t seem phased either way, but I think I would only used the comb on wet hair going forward. Read more

This works. It just does. It will work for you- there’s no way your baby’s cradle cap will win this war. Granted my 3 month old didn’t have the worst case of it- but I used this system once. One time. All of the crusty gunk removed by the comb of wonders. Had to clean it off 3 times during the bath. Which was very gratifying. It’s like popping a zit. I only got to experience the joy once, because that was all it took. Cradle cap gone. Read more

Get this!!! If your baby has dry scalp or cradle cap this gives immediate results. I seen other pics of all the brown cradle cap parents got off their babies and I thought wow, my daughters is just white dry flakes so it def won't be that much. But I was wrong!!! So much came out of her tiny head. I couldn't believe it. Her scalp looks so fresh and clean after 1 use. I will use it again to try to get any leftover dryness but this thing is amazing. Wish I had it for my first baby too. Read more

My almost 3 year old has two patches of cradle cap that pops up every few months. I typically used a baby toothbrush and rubbed gently in a circle to break it up and then I would wash. The cradle cap showed significant improvement in just one use. This arrived on a day a playground friend poured sand into her hair and also art day with glitter - double whammy for me. I wasn't sure how this was going to go since getting sand and glitter out takes a lot of effort. I washed and rinsed twice in attempts to get the sand and glitter out. Finally, I decided to just try the system to see what happens. I'm pretty sure her scalp has NEVER been this clean. I brush through with the tiny comb three or four times to get the flakes, sand, and glitter out while still in the bath and her hair was wet (pro-tip, brush through using a normal comb to get tangles out if necessary - makes it a little less painful to get through the knots). I did it again when her hair was a little more dry so the flakes didn't get mushed between a clump of wet hair. It's kinda gross but also pretty amazing! Read more

This thing is brilliant. My newborn got cradle cap at around 6 weeks. Purchased this based on review and so glad I did! First time I used it, it pretty cleared the majority of the junk of his head. The next day I used it again and now it’s all cleared up! I didn’t end up buying the recommended shampoo and just used Regular baby shampoo that I had and it worked just fine. Use the 3 steps on wet hair. I think it works better than dry. Read more

I have tried other brushes/combs/methods of removing my son's cradle cap. He had a severe case over his entire scalp, forehead and eyebrows. Nothing came close to how effective this system was. I used the curved comb gently on his dry scalp to get the biggest flakes. After lathering up first with coconut oil, then Babyganics shampoo, I gently rubbed with the soft bristle brush, followed by the curved comb. I used the soft bristle brush to clean out the debris from the comb. A rinse and dry revealed his terrible cradle cap 99% cleared with first use! Now I just use it once a week, and his scalp is so healthy. And baby doesn't mind at all. Plus, no red skin like other brushes. Read more
