I have taken Vectomega for over 10 years now and so I am a extremely loyal consumer and for good reason. After using this product I got off antidepressants which I took all most of my life and completely turned my life around getting near all A's in school while working a full time job and will be applying to pharmacy school next year. Believe it or not I attributea a great deal of it to using this supplement as it has improved my mood , outlook, mental focus , and confidence. It helped me endure some really hard classes that require a great deal of focus and menory. Im sure this has alot to do with the phospholipids which provide all the varieties of choline to stimulate the receptors of the brain to induce focus, memory and mood! Sadly over the following months I have read reviews about consumers complaining about a few ingredients that help to stabize the product as it is tablet , I assume deliver it slowly throughout the day! So, sadly the company decided to actually listen to this and replace the product with fillers that are easily broken down in your stomach quickly. For me , probably due to the amount of EPA in the product, it caused a 2 day migraine headache!! So , I just went from using a product that got me 14 A's in a row in school and made me an Honors student which is something Ive never been, to someome who mood and focus has dropped substantially within the last 2 days because I can no longer use this product which I so loyally used for 10 years! Unfortunately for me I tried the capsules as well and it doesnt work nearly as well as the brown tablet , again because it is broken down to fast, instead of being slowly released throughout the day. To the consumers who comained about alittle titanium dioxide, sometimes there is a reason and a science behind a formulation that really makes it work and you have weigh benefits against the few drawbacks of such a great supplement such as this. I apologize for the negative review as I truly loved this product and I am deeply concerned because it greatly benefited my life so much and I know that there is not anothert brand that makes this phospholipid form as it is patented. Like others that left recent reviews, I've taken Vectomega for over 10 years. . . RED coated Vectomega, that was an AMAZING Fish Oil that was all the positives with NONE of the negatives (after taste, refrigeration)..The most recent order (as you can see in my picture) whatever they sent.... I didn't even trust to take. Those aren't the Vectomega ~I~ take..And Kevin (points to a different review) is correct, they changed the formula to cheaper ingredients. I’ve taken this brand of fish oil for years. It’s terrible now. No coating and I think the ingredients have changed. I decided to try the new uncoated pills when they arrived and after several days of stomach pain and heart burn, I stopped taking it to see if it was the cause. It is. Won’t buy this product again. This product works, 5 stars. It helped lower total cholesterol over 40 points when using with steel cut oatmeal for breakfast, grape seed extract and a b complex. 2 stars however for the extra, unneeded chemical ingredients. Titanium dioxide and several other nasty fillers. Will be switching to a algae based omega 3 after this to stay away from PCBs and added garbage ingredients. This used to be a great brand! Read more

I only take the tabs, not the capsules. HATE the taste and smell of fish, so this supplement is the only one that works for me and keeps my cholesterol numbers near normal along with my vegetarian diet. Take 1 twice per day due to severe rheumatoid arthritis and MS. Can really tell a difference if I miss a dose or God forbid, run out of it! Read more

Both me and my hubby have used these. The hubby had a problem with triglyceride and this brought the number down with a month. Helped both his LDL and HDL, as well. He took these in the AM with CoQ10 (60 mg) and took red yeast rice (natural statin) at night. The doctor was impressed with his numbers and asked what he had been doing to get the numbers lowered. I've been using Vectomega for a long time and I'm happy with the product. However, this is the first time I've opened a box and found that a tablet was missing from the packet. I bought extra boxes in January and just opened one of them and it has obviously been previously opened. Now, I'm afraid to use the tablets. I've included a photo. Read more

I have tried other Omega’s over the years but this one is definitely the one for me as the absorption is so much better and I definitely can tell when I’m on them or not . I love these vitamins. I’ve priced them in the health food store and they are much more expensive. Authentic items. I I have been taking these vitamins for years but was always purchasing at the health food store and when I found them or should I say started doing my shopping on Amazon I was shocked to find they were so much cheaper now what I do is just have them on automatic monthly drop which makes it so convenient and the price is perfect.
