I’m terrible at doing hair but my daughter started ballet and I figured I should give it a go. My daughter has long hair, she’s 4 and we haven’t cut it yet because it’s beautiful and blonde and curly and she loves her hair but it’s so LONG and can be hard to manage. We use the largest donut provides because it’s the only one that works. Regular Bobby pubs in addition to the pins provides help. Her hair doesn’t move during activity, it looks fantastic, and it doesn’t hurt her or bother her. I have used 3 of the different sizes. The small when I pull my hair lower, the medium when my hair is more toward the twiddle and the large for the top.I don't use these pins but some others I bought. To make styling easier, I pull my hair back, put the bun on and lay my hair around it. After, I then put the rubber band around the entire bun. Depending on how long your hair is, you'll have a little scraggles of hair out which I sometimes leave or twist and pun down. Read more
This worked great on my fine, collar bone length hair! I'm not skilled with hairdos, but this thing gave me a bun that looked really substantial. It’s OK - but you get what you pay for! The buns themselves have good sizes BUT they don’t feel very high quality and feel flimsy like they will fray/break after a lot of use. The grips are also too wide to actually hold my hair down. They arrived with my other items. As with lockdown getting them delivered. They work quite well but as I have had surgery on my shoulder and on lockdown it was a little fiddly to use but made a change. I wi use the larger ones. Plus the pins go well.
