The pads are very soft and much more comfortable than disposable store bought pads. As per other product reviews, they do slide a bit. Wearing them with wider pairs of underwear (like "boy shorts", which are much more comfy if you're on your period anyway) can help keep the pads in place.EDIT: I switched to a 5-star review after getting my period. Honestly, the comfiness factor doubled. I am autistic and have sensory issues with regular pads and tampons, and this is a life saver. Honestly don't understand why anyone would use anything different. I bleed pretty heavy because I have PCOS, but after 5 hours, the pad still looked and felt clean and fresh, with only a faint reddish tinge. No smell, felt dry to the touch. Absolutely incredible. I love these pads. I'm never going back to the disposable kind. Bonus: no irritated skin or snagging on hair. Read more
BUY THESE. But them now! I have always had uncontrollable periods. Like mine are so heavy, I have to wear the largest size night-time pads that Walmart carries - and I wear them *during the day.* At night, even with the night-time pads, I have leaks. I've had medical issues because of my flow. I've had multiple periods that have lasted 1.5 to 2 months full-on & non-stop. (My doctor thinks I have the early stages of endometriosis.) And don't even get me started on tampons. My flow is so heavy, I can't use those. Anyway, all this to say that, I was very wary when I ordered these non-disposable pads. I have been trying to cut as much waste out of my life as possible (monetarily & environmentally) & I wasted a ton of money & plastic using regular pads, so I decided to give these a shot. They are so comfortable & SUPER absorbent. I was worried that, since these are pretty small & not nearly as long as night-time pads, that I'd have leaks, & while I've had 1 or 2 small leaks, for the most part, I'm leak-free due to how absorbant these are! It blows my mind that this was the solution to all of my issues! I like how they clip on from the bottom of the panties, & they are so comfortable & cute. The designs are unique & adorable. They are such high quality & wash very well in the washing machine on the heavy cycle. They have been washed multiple times already, & they still look brand new. They don't stain. I love the baggy they come in, which is nice to contain my used pads when I travel. I thought using non-disposable pads would be gross, & when I tell people I wear them, they always react with disgust, but after dealing with my ridiculous uterus for all these years, this is the least gross thing I've ever used for feminine care. I mean, you can barely even tell the pads have been used after a full day of using one. Yes, I only have to use ONE for an entire day & night. If I were unhygienic, I could probably use one pad for a few days & nights without changing it. (But don't do that, because that's gross by proxy.) But that's how absorbant & inconspicuous these are. The only thing I'd change about these if I could is that they flip around when I'm using the bathroom, & they scoot back a little while I'm walking. So I'll start pulling my pants back up after using the bathroom, & the pad will have flipped around in my underwear. The 1 or 2 leaks I have had came from the pad scooting back a little too far while I was walking. Other than that, these are perfect & beautiful & made by angels. Read more
I bought these for after I gave birth. I hate wearing pads because they rub on my skin and the adhesive causes rashes and sores on my skin. Usually I would just wear tampons but you can't after you give birth. I thought I would give these a try. Upon first impression I was pleased with how comfortable they are. You can hardly tell you are wearing it. It may be visible if you are wearing tight pants but you don't feel like you are wearing a diaper like the disposable pads. The second surprise was how absorbant they are. They suck all the fluids right up and you don't feel that yucky feeling that pads usually make you feel when wet. Cleaning them hasn't been bad, yah it's kind of bloody but it has given me a better idea of how much I'm bleeding and if I'm within normal levels for having just had a baby. Honestly I bought for post partum with no intention in using them after but with how comfortable they are I would wear them on a regular period overnight or on a light day. Glad I moved in this direction, if you can stomach washing out the blood (it's really not that big of a deal) then give this a try. Read more
I bought these for my 13 and 11 year old daughters, and they love them! (I bought them each two packets so they have a days worth while the other is packet is drying.)We wanted something natural and clean, and these are great. Disposable pads made them have an allergic reaction and feel itchy all the time.As far as size, we got the medium sized pads, and they’re the normal size you’d buy as a disposable pad. It seems the small ones are like panty liners, and the long ones would be over night pads. Even with the medium pads, they’re sooo good for overnight. My girls have heavy periods, and these had no problems overnight. They loved how these pads absorbed and didn’t just sit on top. Regular pads sit on top, and you’re sitting in blood all day. 🤢 My oldest didn’t think it was absorbing at all until she cleaned it and was shocked how much came out!Cleaning them is super easy and they don’t stain at all! They’re just as beautiful as the day we got them!My girls love them! Superb product. Read more
I have an extremely heavy flow, so I have to wear pads all day long, it becomes exhausting because regular pads aren't comfortable. After a while they become itchy and it tends to squish because of my thick thighs and the sides of my underwear gets dirty. However, with these Teamoy Pads, it's been a different experience. With my heavy flow I've only used three. After using it, I hand wash it and it's so easy to! It comes right off, it's not like regular fabric.Because it's a clip you can also adjust where you want the pad to be, more to the top at night or to the bottom during the day. I was worried I wouldn't be able to see how much I bled because of the colour of the pad, but you actually can. Overall I'm super happy. Read more
I have been meaning to make the switch to something sustainable for myself. After reading reviews here I would definitely recommend to use tight underwear as that is what will make it secure to last all day. As well, there was some feedback on whether or not you would see them through jeans or leggings. I’ve tried given my work and worn it through tight jeans and dress and you could barely see it (again depends on how you adjust your pad)Nonetheless, if your someone who has a period cycle lasting only 2-5 days with regular menstrual flow. This is the best thing to use! I only had to change once or twice in a day! It’s super comfortable, very easy to wash (just like the instructions very straightforward), cute designs and is odourless.(was a concern for myself since you don’t change pads often)If your concerned about the size and thickness of it. The best comparison would be 2 Ultra Always Thin colour green(size 2) pads with wings is the thickness and size similar to these products. Read more
Overall, a nice set of reusable sanitary pads with a wet bag for a reasonable price. I purchased the mixed pattern set in size medium.Sanitary Pads:- 2/6 of the pads are made of a softer, fuzzier material (the purple dot and bird patterned ones)... Which are a little less pleasant to use compared to the other 4 pads in the set. The fuzzier ones slip around more, and seem to trap more heat compared to the other ones.- All the pads last for a good a good amount of time. Not much odor during use either.- Comfortable to wear once you get used to it.- The wings on these pads are a little too short, and this is my biggest complaint about this particular set. On its own, the pad seems to stay nice and flat with the wing snapped closed on the back. But as soon as you put the pads on underwear and snap the wings into place, the pads refuse to lay nice and flat. It will bunch up in the middle and/or tilt to one side. Requires much more adjusting throughout the day compared to other reusable pads I already own. I got the medium-sized set, so I'm unsure if the other sizes have similar issues.Wet Bag:- Works well. Keeps both moisture and odor inside for when you want to replace the pads on the go.- Good size for travel too.- The wet bag gets full marks. Great product! In Summary:- Good set, especially for the price. I would recommend this to people that want to give reusable pads a try, and would say that it's better to choose between the "Blocks", "Flowers", "Jungle", or "Leaves" pattern sets instead of the "Mixed", "Purple Dots", or "Birds".- Would've given these pads a full 5/5 stars if the wings were a bit longer and made it so that the pads didn't bunch up or tilt to the side during the day. They work well, but need to be adjusted during use. Read more
Read more
2nd update:I am using these 7.9 inches pads as daily pads occasionally instead, as they are not long enough or secure enough to be used as menstrual pads for regular flows nor as back up for tampons.PROs: easy to wash (just put them into the washing machine without pre-wash & soaking) and don’t need to worry about leaving stains on the pads.CONs: the fuzzy layers are not as breathable as I wished them to be.Updates:If I had to choose again, I would buy a set without mixed pattern (as two of the “mink-like” outer layer ones really won’t stay in place) and definitely would buy the longer length ones. The pads are quite absorbable, BUT.....the 7.9” pads failed as a backup for tampons and for light period flow as the pads were too short and slided backwards easily (even though I wasn’t moving much, and even tried with different type of underwears), caused minor frontal leakages. Tried them as daily panties liners as well, but it felt way too thick for daily use.Still love the size & the two compartments of wet bag thoughPROS: Cute patterns. Nicely made. Nice materials. The pads are true to size. The wet bag is a great size for storing the clean pads at home or when you bring your pads with you in a suitcase/ travel bag, I like that it has two compartments. There's a button/snap on the wet bag 'handle', so you can attach the wet bag to a rod in the bathroom/washroom where there's no hook on the wall or the back of the door. I'm glad that I changed to reusable pads instead of using disposible ones, so that there will be less plastic garbage.CONS: The outer layers of two of the pads (the birds & the poker dots ones) are made with micro-fleece instead of PUL waterproof fabric, These two are a bit slippery and don't stay in place as good as the other ones. It might take a while for NEW reusable pads users to get used to wearing reusable pads, and the process of washing them after using them. Read more
