I bought this for my 3 year old niece. At 3, she's already showing both a mind built for creativity and a passion for doing things HER way. Plus, she loves jewelry. This little toy set lets her express those budding traits and have fun in the process. She enjoys being able to mix and match different designs and even personalizes necklaces for those she gives as "gifts" (I put gifts in quotes, because her 'clientele' usually have to give them back after wearing them just a few minutes lol.She just likes to see how they look on you and see your expression, giving her joy in having you appreciate her work).I love that it brings out her creative side and hope that it never fades. My daughter gave this as a present for her friend's birthday. She loved it so so so much, she requested it a month later for her own birthday! It's a cute crafty necklace, but one semi large downfall is the way to take the necklace on and off also allows all of the beads to fall right off! I wish there was a way to tie it off. So when she took it off and dropped one end, every single bead fell off. I'm going to try to find some sort of stopper bead. No clue if this exists or not. I was so disappointed when my daughter put a bracelet together. Once everything was on, you push the 2 ends together and it wouldn’t stay together. We tried all the bands and non of them stay together. Super fun to make it but they can’t be worn. And if so, it’s just a matter of time before it comes apart and you have beads all over. Wish there was some way to snap it together so you knew it was securely on and not going to fall off and make my daughter cry. Read more

So my almost 3 years old toddler who loves Minnie Mouse loved this, but I gave 3 stars as a warning to fellow new parents to read my review. As you know when your child is almost 3 years old, you would think he/she won’t fall off of a couch anymore, but she for sure did not know what not to put in to her nose. My toddler put one of the bead into her nose, we tried to take it out by tweezer at home but ended up taking her to the urgent care. Luckily dr has a very convenient tool to take an object out of nose( and they said bead stuck in the nose of toddler is common), but these things happened a moment we turned our back. So it is great fun toy if your child is old enough and understand not to put the bead in the nose/ ears. Or if you are paying over 100% attention while your toddler is playing with this, it’s ok too. But otherwise, please learn from our mistake that 3 years old still put a bead in her nose. We decided to put the beads away for now until she is older to play with. Read more

It allows her to string the beads all on her own. The beads stay on well after being strung. The necklace is easy to put on and take off. What a fantastic little kit for little ones. Purchased for my daughter's 3rd birthday.The silicone string is perfect for little hands, the beads stay on when it's pulled apart and it has almost a safety clasp, that stays on securely but pops open when it is pulled, without the beads falling off!I like how they use the classic pony beads so I can buy her more, I am going to see if I can find more of the silicone strings, maybe bracelet length. I bought this for my 5 year old for Christmas, she loves it.Comes with 5 necklaces, 5 Disney princesses and some beads...I love that the necklace “rope/string” connects together rather than having to tie knots to attach them. The “rope” is stretchy. *One end is how they thread the beads on and it doesn’t “fall off” the other end.
