I love the foam material. It is perfect for my crawler and all of her little tumbles. She rips it apart and tries to chew it from time to time since she is teething and no small pieces have broken apart. My only gripe is that it did not come as pictured. The last two rows repeated the same colors so it’s not aesthetically pleasing to me. My daughter could care less but I am irritated that the borders and last rows didn’t come as pictured. Read more

I ended up spending at least two hours trying to find the right play mat for my little boy. I felt like I was going crazy because all these play mats have random colors and random letter coloring, and some reviews I read stated that the letter and tile were the same color!Then I found this mat, it's 6ft x 6 ft, and the coloring is perfect for someone like me who is slightly OCD, each tile is a different texture (which I didn't think was important but it makes a difference in helping my little one walk). I absolutely love it. The thickness is perfect and doesn't hurt to sit/lay on as an adult (super important). It doesn't slide around on our hardwood flooring. The letters and holes (like with B) stay in very well, so I'm not too worried about my little one pulling them out and chewing on them, although when he's older and using his hands more I will probably end up super gluing the holes to the letter. There was no smell after opening the plastic package. Also, I got this 10 days before the estimated delivery!The ONLY issue is really my own fault - our dog and cats hair gets on the mat and doesn't come off easily. This playmat is very thin. The individual letter pieces look "cute", but all those seams/pieces make it harder to clean up messes like spit-up or spilled milk. Liquids will seep down into the seams to the floor below, so any cleanup involves removing, cleaning, drying, and replacing all the dirty pieces AND the floor below.Since the mat is so thin, the individual pieces don't tend to stay flat. The seams between pieces curl up, which makes it very easy for our 1yo to pull out a letter piece and chew on it. Especially the smaller filler pieces, like the insides of the B, P, 6, 9, etc.I bought this 4 months ago, and it already needs to be replaced. So I bought two sets of the tadpole mats (ABC/Numbers & the Stars/Hearts) so what is seen in my picture is obviously bigger than if you were to just buy ABC set by itself. I did think it was awesome that both sets matched and fit together though! My little girl just started crawling and trying to stand so these were a necessary purchase due to our hard floors. They aren't super squishy but they are a million times better than nothing at all and I honestly think they are enough cushion to protect her. She has already took a tumble and she recovered almost immediately - just got a little teary eyed for a split second. They also provide her much better traction which is nice. I am able to use my stick vacuum over them but only on low setting. They wipe up easily. This is a quality product and I am very satisfied with my purchase. Read more

We got this to put on the floor in my son's play area. Having an old dog with bladder control issues and a crawler in the same household is a challenge, so this is a way to keep him off of the carpet. It's easy to put down and reassemble. I would absolutely not order the ABC version of this again, though. The letters aren't printed on, they're separate pieces. They pop out really easily, and using this on carpet means every step you take on it partially dislodges a letter. It's doing the job we got it for, though, and the price was right, I'd just prefer not having to pat the letters back down all the time. It might be a great educational tool in the future or for older kids, but not the best for a teething crawler who puts EVERYTHING (except finger foods we give him to eat) in his mouth. Read more

If you’re “waiting” to spend more money on softtiles, or those cute play cushiony mats that are hundreds of dollars this will get you by in the meantime.I found this fairly hard. I still wouldn’t want to fall over myself and hit my head. Granted I have this on hard 12x12 tiles. But still. My husbands tiles for his gym are way softer.However I do like the alphabet and the colors that aren’t hideous like the rainbow ones. They are good quality and all fit together nicely. My daughter just started crawling and this was perfect for cushioning her falls and much easier on her knees. Easy to put together and arrived quickly. It cost a little more than those in stores but the colours are unique compared to the generic rainbow coloured foam mats found in store. Read more

I'm thankful I didn't buy the vehicle mat, small pieces wou;d have been everywhere. Some letters are snug and others are not, so cleaning under it means dragging it away or disassembling. However, the price is decent, the foam is thick enough to feel comfortable on a hardwood floor, and my son loves to use the pieces as a giant puzzle. He is talking more than usual, attempting to name the letters and numbers. It is doubling as a comfortable exercise mat and nap mat. I have the circle mat, and yes they would fit together perfectly, but that one lives at grandma's. Read more

The playmat I received is not the same as pictured. The pieces I received do not all color match which is deceiving. WHEN I AM BUYING A PRODUCT I WANT IT TO BE AS SHOWN AND CLAIMED. I received this product a few days ago, and so far so good. This mat is a great size and bigger than most I’ve seen. I enjoy that it’s educational with the ABCs and 123’s. My baby seems to love it so far, and so far it has protected him from his falls and tumbles. Read more
