This is my first time using almond oil and anticipated that with using an oil, much like past experiences with others, it would ultra greasy. Not the case. It absorbs nicely into my skin, especially the drier areas. I used it on my legs, but that with the heat wave in my area did not absorb as well into. But I also used it in my hair as a treatment and washed it out after. My hair feels soft without weight. FYI my hair is fine and straight. My ends experience dryness because my scalp is always oily and I need to clean it more often than I’d like to keep from looking dirty or prevents itchiness- not flakes/ dandruff just itchy.I use it a lot on my nails and cuticles since I’ve gotten it. With all the hand washing my nails and nail bed have dried out and this has relieved that immensely. I really love this oil! I added it as part of my night routine. Final step and it soaks in overnight while i sleep. When using natural essential oils, because of the desensitizing that can occur (wear gloves always with essential oils) and many use various oils to be the carrier of the essential oil. THIS PRODUCT SAVED MY SKIN!!!! I was at my wit's end with my itchy and uncomfortable skin. I tried everything from soaps, salves, skin washes and even prescriptions from my doctor to no avail. I am tremendously satisfied with this product! My skin is a mixed type, so I worried that a beauty oil would break me out. I have had no such trouble with this oil at all. I also gifted this oil to my friend who has very sensitive skin, and she has had not had any trouble either. I bought this to oil recorder bores, musical instrument recorder, not electronic recorder. It works well, leaves a thin coating. Long term is unknown, but several makers recommend almond oil. It does leave a faint taste, but not obnoxious. If you have a nut allergy, it is probably not what you want to use. It i easier to use than linseed oil which has a rag disposal issue.. Read more
