The heating pads are nice. Great size and soft. I will say, I have to heat each for about 2 minutes or more to get the pads to a warm/med-hot level- they are pretty weighted. I also notice a faint smell... probably the beans/grains inside. Definitely nothing that's odorous or repels us. Overall, very soothing and glad I purchased.Update:After using the pads for a week or so, I've noticed a moisture leakage after heating via the microwave. Nothing that will soak your clothes but definitely obvious and the faint smell exists. I also noticed that one pad has began to smell burnt at the ends/corners after heating. Smells like burnt popcorn 🤢. We have athletes in the house so they are used multiple times a week. We are not cooking the pads in the microwave but because of the thickness they are heated at least a minute to get a decent warmth, and to smell burning as if the beans (or whatever ingredient is inside) are cooking, is a turn off.
