I have tried others hair removal creams and been more than disappointed many times. But the reviews for this one made me try one more time. It DID NOT remove my facial hair and burned my skin. If you have dark think hair and especially middle age or older facial hair I would not recommend you trying this. This product's chemistry is not designed for some of us. As an African American mature woman with coarse chin hair, I found this product, insufficient. After applying the hair removal cream with the application tool, I waited 4 minutes before removing the product. Immediately after removing the cream and flushing my face with water; there was no burning or itchiness. While the cream dissolved hair or after removal from my face. I felt short lived mild irritation 30 minutes after removal of the cream. As a precaution, I applied the finishing lotion to my hand; I felt a tingle, so I did not use it on my face after using the hair remover. Fine soft hairs are removed within 4 minutes. I love this item. It's much better than Nair. I have very sensitive skin this is the first product that I used without any irritation. I have tried many ways to remove my little blond hairs on my upper lip. but everything from waxing to threading to all other hair remover creams make me break out bad. This is the ONLY one that works to remove all of the hairs and leave my skin in good condition after i'm done. I do have a little trick that I think you all should try...after you remove the cream and wash your face try putting coconut oil on the spot you just put the remover on. It instantly cools my skin and makes the burn go away much better then the cream they give and coconut oil does not make your skin break out. I have been using it as my moisturizer for years now with no breakouts. I buy the virgin organic coconut oil. They sell it at most grocery stores now and here on Amazon. Read more

Followed the directions exactly. Did a test spot, per directions. No skin irritation, but no hair removal either. Waited the recommended 48 hours to apply for real. Removed after only 7 minutes (1 minute less than the time range recommended) and still no hair removal, did not even loosen the hair. As proven when I then tweezed a hair in the area to test if it was at least loosened. However, it DID burn the crap out of my skin. As the day wore on, I developed a scab. A hairy scab. Read more
