I’m quite disappointed in this product. I usually use CeraVe AM, but decided to give Differin a try, as the “oil control” claim lured me in. I find that this product actually makes my oily skin EXTRA oily. After 2 hours of wear I need to use a blotting sheet. I also find that it is slightly irritating and causes redness in the morning. HORRIBLE for OILY skin! I live in Houston, Tx and it’s hot and humid here. I have moderately oily skin- T-zone oil. I used this sunscreen and right after I put it on my skin felt more oily. An hour after putting it on my skin was a greasy mess and my foundation looked HORRIBLE. I don’t even think I could wear this in the winter. If I went to a cold climate that wasn’t humid I may be able to wear this in the dead on winter. If you have DRY SKIN I think you may really like this. How the heck can an acne product company make an “oil control” sunscreen like this? This is literally one of the most greasy sunscreens ai have ever used. I would be better off using banana boat on my face. I’m going back to Neutragena oil free face sunscreen which isn’t perfect, but is a heck of a lot more matte than this! Read more

I ordered this at the recommendation of my dermatologist. I have adult onset hormonal acne that's inflamed by my rosacea. It's majority under control and the doc wanted me to give this a try to help shrink my pours and add in the healing and minimizing of the scarring on my cheeks. I'm highly impressed with how effective it's been. It's a good amount of SPF for my daily indoor life but I put on a stronger face sunscreen when I spend time outside. I also love how moisturizing this product is. I live in a very cold dry climate and this has done wonders for the horrible dry patches I normally get around my mouth. Read more

Honestly cannot believe how well this works. I use Differin gel on the recommendation of my dermatologist and thought it would be a good idea to use their moisturizer and I'm so glad I made that decision. I've always used expensive moisturizers such as Chanel and the like, but I recently developed hormonal acne and my dermatologist recommended I use something more gentle with some prescription medications. I've always use expensive moisturizers. I can't believe it, but this works just as well as those in terms of getting my skin moisturized deep down.Everyone's skin is different of course for this price point is definitely worth a try. Omg first off, I just wanna say that I love differin! I use the gel and the benzoyl peroxide cleanser every single day. However, this moisturizer is god awful. The first 5 minutes after you put it on are great, it goes on smoothly, feels deceptively light and lovely..however, about 20 minutes into wearing this stuff, (even without sweating) it will always and I mean ALWAYS make it’s way into your eyes. Believe me, I gave it so many chances and I tried intentionally applying it far away from my eyes but it must travel in the oils of your skin or something because it burned my eyes so bad every single time I tried to wear it without fail. It defeated me every time. and it’s so so sooo much worse than the normal sensation of getting regular sunscreen in your eyes. And there’s no way to just wipe it out of your eyes real quick. you end up trying to just cry it out all day long because no matter how much you wipe around your eyes, it still makes its way in from the other parts of your face!!! To be fair, this is just my and my bfs experience as he tried it too and had the same agonizing effects. So maybe it wil work for someone else but I say procede with great caution. Read more

Love this moisturizer! Sucks up oil but leaves skin sliky soft and gets rid of acene scars and dryness and helps with worry wrinkles and 20s wrinkles due to acene and dryness from acene meds. Get your teens and 20 somethings on this if they are using a Benz based med for acene because it will dry skin and lead to scaring they will have into adulthood and some until they are too wrinkly to see it. No one wants that so use this to prevent acene scaring. This is a great product that WONT CAUSE ACENE! The only safe moisturizer to use with acene it is A MUST! Smells great too and has sun screen in it, need I say more? Definitely give this a try! If your a 20 something like me and still have acene that’s mild now but have scars from teen years this stuff will help ! Trust me 5 stars aren’t enough! I wish I had this stuff as a teen! They don’t even advertise this as much as their other meds and this is truly the gold star of their collection! I was really excited to try this, an oil control sunscreen, as I need to use both every morning, but this doesn’t really do much oil control. After completely absorbed, it isn’t greasy, which is good. But doesn’t help control oil throughout the day. Still, it gets 3 stars because it’s actually a very nice sunscreen face lotion. I need a sunscreen and mild moisturizer for my very oily and acne-prone skin. I do believe that there may be some oil controlling properties to this product.
