I purchased this towel because I have been growing out my hair and my Turbie Twist was getting to be too short to fit my hair. I looked at the dimensions for this towel (24 inch x 43 inch) and thought it would be long enough for my hair due to the 43 inch length. However, I didn't realize until it arrived that the towel elastics works in the opposite direction. The 43 inch side wraps around the head and the 24 inch side covers the length of the hair. So, the distance from the top of your forehead to the bottom of your hair should be shorter than 24 inches in order to fit inside this towel wrap. I was a bit disappointed, but I am keeping the towel because it is SO soft and absorbent. The quality is also great. I've washed it many times already and it still looks like new. I will continue to use it with my hair hanging out of it! Read more
These are very well tailored; cloudy soft, super absorbent and fluffy. The edges are finished in silky edge piping that does not add bulk. The fastening elastic that secures the twisted ends is found in both sides of the towel on opposite sides, so no matter which side of the towel you use, there will always be a fastening strip available. Love this towel! I have long very fine hair and it usually takes forever to dry with any of the regular microfiber towels and turbans that I have purchased over the years. With this beautiful towel, drying time is cut in half or less. I like the fact that there is a place to tuck the towel in at the back, a feature not found on any other towel I know about. (Yes, I know that hair drying turbans usually have a button but turbans do absolutely nothing to dry my hair). So give up hair turbans and any other hair drying towels and get this product. I specifically bought this product because it is ‘for long hair’ it isn’t! If your hair is past your shoulders don’t buy this product because you will not be able to wrap all of your hair in it unless you scrunch your hair up into the towel. Read more
