absolutely wonderful!!! I wish I could give it 100 stars. My child has NEVER slept well. She's 21 months and for almost 2 years, we have lived in a sleep deprived state. The last night before this product, she slept from 2am to 630 am.... and I was done. I have her half the dose my nurse friends recommended the next night and low and behold, the child was asleep by 9:30 pm... lights shone from heaven and I swear, I heard angels singing in a harmonious chorus. This stuff has changed my life! I am naturally a night person and I have the hardest time going to bed in the evening. This melatonin works so well I use it every night it lets me sleep all. I struggle with going to sleep at night as I’ve always been a night person who enjoys staying up but I do have to sleep so I can work the next day, upon trying this I tried your typical PM products which work yes but I don’t want to keep filling my body with those other medicines that come in PMs. Plus I’ve also tried melatonin caplets, this liquid melatonin is MUCH faster and more effective than it’s counterparts. The dropper that comes with it is a little wonky and can make it difficult at times to get a full dosage but that’s no big deal. Adjust dosage as needed for yourself. My oldest daughter was the worst to try to get to sleep at night. I finally asked my Dr. for some tips during her 18 month checkup, on getting her to go to sleep at night because I had tried everything, and every night was the same miserable battle. The flavor on this is decent. A lot of them are bitter/nasty but this is my favorite that I've tried. In addition to a decent flavor it is the first melatonin that has worked for me.I bought on Amazon because my local store was out. This is a huge hit there and they can't seem to keep it in stock. This is the only melatonin that works for us. I have tried several pills and if I hadn’t purchased this liquid at the same time I would have given up on melatonin. Two of my kids and I have chronic insomnia both not being able to get to sleep for hours and also waking up often. I love that I can pick my dose as most pills are way too high. If you research melatonin doses it says that higher doses can actually cause insomnia. I never noticed that but none of the pills worked and why take more than you need? My smaller kid only needs one to two drops and I only need 1/2 of a dropper to get to sleep within about 30 minutes. If I can’t get back to sleep in the night and it is still five hours before I need to get up I take another 1/4 dropper and that usually does the trick. If I take it too close to getting up then I feel groggy and tired all morning. It is very obvious when my younger kid hasn’t had her drops yet and she rarely wakes back up during the night unless she fell asleep without the melatonin. The taste is great and the price very reasonable. I have been using these for about six years now and haven’t had to increase my dose. Our pediatrician thinks that we just don’t produce melatonin like most people so we need to take some. Read more
