I debated whether to get this booster seat because I knew it would be a little shorter than my dining chair. I'm so glad I bought it though because although it's not a perfect fit for my chair, it doesn't bother my 3-year-old son at all. Actually he likes being able to rest his feet at the edge of the chair instead of dangling them off. The width and height are also perfect. The synthetic leather material is easy to clean and the cushion itself is firm but still comfortable. There are also two adjustable straps for the chair, which are sturdy. My very independent 2 year old daughter began insisting on sitting in the big people chairs at the table with Mommy but then she was too short to reach her plate. She hates the boosters that essentially sit a chair onto the dining chair because she doesn’t feel as if it’s the real deal! She loves this booster because it basically just adds a boost, allowing her the feel of an adult chair. Now she easily climbs up to her chair at the dinner table on her own! I love the color (turquoise blue and green) as well as how easy it is to wipe clean! I was worried that it may slide around on the chair and make it difficult for my daughter to climb up and down on her own but it stays buckled securely and we haven’t had any problems with it at all! There’s plenty of review pictures to know how this cushion might fit on different types of dining chairs - I just don’t understand the complaints about the size of it (“too small”). Unless your child is particular about such things, they likely won’t care that it falls short of covering the entire seat area. My toddler and preschooler both love this cushion. Loved these so much, got some for the grandparents' house too! My toddlers are too old to be using a seat with a strap, and I was getting sick of cleaning the ones that are shaped like chairs (with little backs and crevices food can get stuck in). These are perfect--thick like a telephone book, but strapped to the chair so it won't budge, and easy to clean (and comfy to sit on). My kids love them and so do I. I loved this! I bought 3 for our grandsons. They are 4 1/2 and twins 2 1/2. They can climb up and down themselves. My table is round & the chairs are rounded also, so it helps keep the boys incased at the table. Now we can all sit around the table and eat together. I feel that is important.It is so nice not to have to lug highchairs out and put them back after the children are gone. This has saved on our backs! Also our 4 yr old grandson has a bad habit of grazing while he eats, getting up and down & running around. Having all of us at the table helps to keep him there until meal times are over. I'm an adult but I bought this for myself because I'm very petite and between working and doing school from home, I was feeling uncomfortable sitting in some of our chairs for long periods. I specifically did not want a comfort type cushion that's memory foam because those just squish down. This boosts me the exact right amount, is easy to wipe off, and keeps me from getting a sore behind on hard surfaces! It will squish down a little at the edge, but you can easily rotate/flip it (or at least I can because I don't actually clip it to the chair). Perfect for giving my toddler a boost to the table! She's independent enough that she doesn't need a seat with straps, but she's still too short to reach the table without something. She likes being able to sit at the table like a "big girl." I prefer this over a seat as well. Cleaning it is super easy! No crevices for food to hide in. This booster cushion worked great for us. Our three year old granddaughter was very happy to go from her high chair booster seat to using this cushion. Before I bought it, her parents let her sit on a regular chair, or sit on the chair "on her knees" in order to be high enough to see her food.
