My baby didn't fit in the sling that came with his bath tub but his bathtub is kind of hard (his daddy doesn't think so but I do) so I decided to buy him this sponge. I loved it from the first time I used it. Hes always loved bath time but now he seems to love it even more. He's payed back while getting a bath and I love that I can just lay him on the sling while washing his back and his booty. That's his favorite moment because he's just grabbing himself onto the sponge, looking around :) though I don't leave him for a long time because I don't want to hurt his knees. He's 11 weeks now and I wish I could have bought it sooner. On the sling that came with the bath tub he would move a lot and I'll always be scared of him falling off but on the sponge, he just lays back. It looks exactly as pictured :) I squeeze the water out after his bath and let it air dry. So far, it looks good. No mold. Read more

Perfect. Infant tubs are probably the most highly overrated accessory, for infant care. After raising two of my own, and now upon my first grandchild, and can confidently say they're an unnecessary and cumbersome dust collector. -- The bath sponge mat is, by far, the most practical solution still to this day. Tried and true.👍👍 Read more

This is my absolute favorite baby product. We have a standing shower but not bath tub. We received a baby tub at our shower, with a newborn sling, and room to grow. It does fit on the floor of our shower, however there is only one door on one wall of the shower, so it's difficult to lean over to wash baby, and it would be hard to grab him if he were to slip. Also, the large tub is too heavy to lift out of the shower to sit on the floor, we do not have a detachable shower head, and it would be impossible to drain if not in the shower. In desperation to not deal with this mess I started washing baby in the sink on a towel, which would then leave me with a sopping wet towel to deal with.I took to google and found this! PERFECT! I had no idea these existed. And so CHEAP! I immediately bought one and baths have been SO easy ever since. As baby is growing I've moved to the deeper kitchen sink, but he's still very happy. This sponge is easy to clean and wring out to dry. It's got a good support cut out for baby and it stays warm during his bath! I couldn't be more pleased! Read more

Perfect to keep little bottoms from sliding around in sink or tub. Good for the on-the-back age and later when sitting on sponge. I had something like this for my last baby a couple years ago and decided to buy another for my new baby. When bath time is over and baby is out and water is drained, I just wring it out from top to bottom and leave it near the tub to dry out completely. I like that it is simple to keep clean and can be squished small, that the baby can be mostly wet (on his back so he doesn't get cold), and he's comfortable and likes to kick while he lies in the tub on it. I push it into the water before I put him on it so it absorbs the warm water.Baby in picture is under 2 months old (about 22") for reference. Read more

Not a horrible concept but I don’t like a few things about it.1. It takes FORVER to dry. Usually it won’t be dry by the next bath time2. Everything sticks to it! I feel like my baby is supposed to in the bath to be completely clean, not laying on a yucky mat. We have a dog and his hair is all over it and I cannot get it off of it no matter what I do.3. It’s a piece of foam... shouldn’t cost as much as it was Read more

Love this!! This is absolute must for anyone with a newborn baby. I bought a baby tub but this is really all I need until the baby is able to hold his own head up and is a little less fragile and squirmy. I bought two of these, place them side by side in my regular bath tub ( without sitting water of course) and soak the sponges with warm water. Then I place baby on sponge and start washing him. For one, he can’t slide off of it, two, because he’s in a regular tub he’s in a contained low space rather than in a tub on a counter top and I feel I have more control and can move him from side to side to wash his back and back of his head, and it’s easier to keep him warm by placing warm wet washcloths on him while I’m washing his hair or any other part. Lastly, when he’s nice and warm he pees right into the air and it doesn’t matter because I can rinse it away immediately like this. Even if he pooped, it would be an easier on the spot rinse away than in a baby tub. I tried bathing him in an infant tub the first two times and it was just awkward and definitely with more risk for something not going well. Also they are so cheap, that you can replace them anytime you think you need to. Read more

We use the Primo EuroBath Tub and started out just using a washcloth for baby to lay on. I tacked this onto an Amazon order and think it's a great buy... it fits perfectly in the tub and I think it makes bath time more enjoyable for our little. I squeeze it underneath the running water when it's a bit too hot since the top will cool as it sits out. Once it's soaked, I'll plop it into place and fill the tub with the right temperature of water. My husband put bubble bath on it one time when he was getting the bath ready and it made washing her hair a chore as it would never wash clear so be careful of that. When we're done, I empty the tub and let it sit propped against the shower wall, wring the sponge out and let it dry on top of the tub. Haven't had any issues with mold! Read more

I purchased this to use with my  4Moms Infant Tub, White  because during my first attempt to bathe my 2 week old son, he was sliding all over the place making it difficult to get him clean. I ordered this shortly after and his next bath went so much better! This sponge keeps him in place and makes it easy to get my hands behind him without pinching or pulling his soft baby skin. The sponge is very soft and also helps to keep him warm throughout the bath which makes him much happier. I couldn’t be more satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone with a newborn! Read more

Very easy to use and great for taking on holiday but bear in mind this isn’t built to last and for me I got one two week holiday out of it before small tears started appearing. I won’t be able to use it much longer.but it is cheap. But it will go to landfill. On balance I give it 3 stars. Read more

Sponge is too soft, too floaty and the head end isn't raised enough. I previously had one of the others available on Amazon (bear shaped one that comes with two shaped little sponges) and the head end is a good few inches higher than the feet end which is great as it means you can fill the bath a little more and babies head is still clear of the water, meaning babies legs are in more water to splash about in. With this sponge most of the baby remains out of the water so they can't have as much fun and they get cold quicker as they are not covered in water. I'd recommend buying the one mentioned above instead, it's really great and only £1 more! I have used this twice and thrown it in the bin and ordered another of the bear shaped ones. Read more

I absolutely love this !!It’s very easy to use and cleanIt’s safe for little ones as it stops them from sliding aroundI got this for my sons first big bath as I wasn’t very confident with nothing. Works perfectly. The only downside is it’s not very long and leaves his legs hanging out the bottom which I didn’t like. Read more

I had one of these fir my son and loved how easy it made bathing him. So when my grandson started trying to sit down in the bath and getting upset because he was sliding around I decided to get one for him. Now he loves his baths, he can sit down without sliding on the base of the bath and happily splashes away until it's time to get out. Obviously you still have to be next to the bath and certainly can't leave them alone, but this does mean that I can wash him and wash and rinse his hair without having to hold onto him constantly. He can sit without slipping around, enjoys his baths again and it makes life so much easier for whoever baths him. Read more

I love this bath sponge for my new born. Used from when baby was 1 week old when she had her first proper bath at home. We had bought a baby bath and this sponge fits perfectly inside and doesn't slip and slide about. I just put baby in and had both hands free, our baby bath tub is not cushioned so the sponge provides a great soft cushion for baby to lie in. The price for this is great! I also just very gently squeeze any excess water out at the end and leave to dry by the side of the tub - not had any issues so far with drying and reusing this. Read more
