This seems to be a great quality monitor at a reasonable price……just what I was looking for! I needed a good monitor for when my granddaughters were visiting. I’m not the greatest at setting up technical equipment but the setup on this couldn’t have been easier. The monitor takes 7 hours for the battery to get a full charge yet is still functional right out of the box with the power cord/charger. When using in the battery mode the battery life can be preserved by using a feature setting it to audio only….yet allowing you to turn on video quickly when desired. There is also a voice activated feature showing video only when there is a sound in the room. I love the fact that there were wall clips included that allow you to avoid a dangerous loose cord situation, holding the cord of the camera stationary and safely, neatly out of the way. The camera is even capable of being hung on a wall if desired.The hand-held unit is a good size. I was worried about the small size at first (being that my eyesight isn’t as good as it once was) but the size is actually great. Small enough to carry around yet still allows an older lady the ability to see without having to put on glasses!There is a night light feature that you can turn on either at the camera or from the monitor. Allows the child’s comfort of having a very subtle light in the room but also allows you to see exactly where the camera is if you need to re-position the camera for any reason by entering the room but not waking up your child. And the night vision quality is wonderful. There is practically no difference in video quality between a lighted room and a totally dark room.Everything can be operated from the hand-held unit…..night light on/off, volume up/down, zoom in/out, brightness of the video. Indicators showing battery life, reception, voice indicator lights, etc. Even capable of adding more cameras which would allow scanning different areas….or different rooms if needed…cycling every 8 seconds.I don’t know what else anyone would need for a great price. I am an avid amazon prime-r, like 100 orders in the last 6 months kinda girl. Never left a review until today- be warned, this camera is cheaply made. We got this as a replacement after our old baby monitor bit the dust after 19 months... set it up Friday... and the display screen is already cracked. Neither my husband or me will confess to dropping it (I really don’t think I did??) but our old one took probably 50 good falls before it eventually gave in because the antenna broke off.Of course I’ve thrown the packaging away by now and I guess it’s “our fault” just no quality here on the screens roughness... for $80 you’d think it would be made a little better to withstand a drop or two?Pros - great quality, clear picture, easy to set upCons - cheaply made and the screen cracked within 4 days. I previously owned a summer infant monitor and when we had a second baby could no longer get a second camera for that. It was close to Black Friday so I bought a VTech fancy dual camera system, this was a terrible mistake. I returned that and was able to buy the glimpse monitor system and this extra camera and I have never looked back! Pairing them was a easy as plugging in the second camera and turning it on. We seriously love this monitor. The signal is strong too, works in my basement (kids on second floor) and outside to my mailbox. Read more

This is a good monitor for the price. Things I like...- It was super easy to set up, including adding a second camera- It is easy to switch back and forth between the two cameras for my two kids.- It really includes all you NEED for a monitor.- The screen turns off, but sound stays on after awhile. It’s easy to activate the screen again if you think you hear something.- There I a setting to scan if you have a second camera. It will switch back and forth between the cameras for about 10 seconds at a time. The eco mode I mentioned above still works with this setting.Things I wish it had... my old Summer monitor had features that I miss...- the ability to move the camera from the monitor- two-way talk, I didn’t think it was needed, but now that I’m using the second camera with a toddler, I think it’d be nice to have- the ability to check the camera with my phone app Read more

It’s just what I wanted. I actually bought it second hand. We got the set for our baby shower, and I decided I wanted another camera. Connected easily and works great. There’s no batter life it has a wall adapter so it’s not made to hold a charge. Read more

Spend the extra money for a better camera. We switched to a better model that can rotate around the room. SO much better than this. It's okay if you're on a budget but again I would spend up to have a better experience. Other than the night vision this product is super basic. Read more

Seriously it was working fine. I got it because its without wifi as well as price point. I purchased it Oct 2019 and now its bot charging? For no reason. I have 3 cameras with a monitor that doesn't work. Also the battery does too fast. It has to remain plugged in. Smh. Read more
