I love love love these shoes! They are the classic baby walkers that parents have used for over a century! There's a reason these shoes are so popular, and I definitely recommend them to all toddler parents! These are nice and sturdy, and have nice grip. As long as my toddler is wearing these, there are no falls.I also purchased a pair of the more expensive brand of baby walkers with the leather sole, and with those my toddler slipped around way too much.But THESE Stride Rite baby walkers are PERFECT! Can't beat a rubber sole on toddler shoes!I took away one star for one reason only. These need breaking in, as most leather shoes do, and before broken in they are rather tight for their size. My toddler ended up with some blistering on his feet due to this. I would recommend sizing up a bit that way they will not be too tight during breaking in, and by the time they are well broken in, they will be the perfect size! Read more

I am a great grandma. My own boys (now in their forties!) Wore Stride Rite shoes exclusively until they were pre teenagers. The quality is unbeatable. The two pairs of shoes I recently ordered are for my Grandson, Connor. I firmly believe" just beginning to walk "babies need the high top support of an excellent shoe. Yes, the shoes sold retail are cute but cute doesn't cut it for this Grandma. Originally I was told there were no high top lace up shoes available anymore. Then my granddaughter helped me find you " on line" and I will continue to order your shoes as Connor grows. I do miss the leather soles though, but the new soles do eliminate the "slip" factor. I was struggling to find shoes that would accommodate my daughters SMOs. I read an article about these shoes that particularly help babies trying to walk. When they first arrived they looked a little too big. But it was a really struggle getting these shoes on. After a few days, I got the hang of it. Loosen all the shoe laces and remove the sole from the shoe. Taking the sole out made a huge difference. My daughter is 15 months old. These shoes were purchased for my son who is 7 months. I attempted to buy this shoe based on an average infant shoe size. I ordered a size 3 infant wide( my baby already has wide feet). The shoes arrived as expected and looked exactly as advertised. I had difficulty getting my son’s foot in the shoe but I thought it was due to the shoe being new. He wore the shoe for a few hours a day, for about 2 days but on the third day my son cried whenever I attempted to put on his shoes. After several attempts I realized his feet were sore and the shoe was actually to small for his feet. I then realized once I looked in shoe that there is a removable insole that measures the foot. My baby’s foot was at the very end of the shoe. I attempted to exchange the shoe but his size (4 wide infant) is not available. These are the best shoes if your kid is learning to walk or otherwise. They fit so well. You need to read the size guide and order accordingly. We had to order 2 different sizes to find the right fit. The colors are not very attractive but the build is sturdy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend these. Read more
