I am 5’3’’ small, and 135 lbs light, and I am a woman. Do you guess what happened when I took one measure of the preworkout as indicated on the box? I almost exploded of energy through the face, the ears, and all my muscles. I couldn’t stop moving, I drove on the bike for 45 minutes with resistance, and my heart was beating 140, I was feeling fine, no pain whatsoever! But then, I was awake for 30 hours in a row!!! Couldn’t sleep! With the shock of this first experience, I started the process of returning the product. But then, I gave it a second thought... what if I use a tiny little bit, like 1/6th of a normal scoop? I did it several days later after I recovered from my first experience, on deep sore muscles (just did a HIIT training that was harder than anything I did before): well, the pain of sore muscles disappeared, I had enough energy to clean up my whole room in less than one hour, scrubbing the hardwood floor by hand, and much more. This amazing energy lasted about 9 hours until it faded out and the soreness come back, but much less than before! So, be careful what you wish for, because this is a POWERFUL help for your workouts and more. The other thing I noticed is that my mental acuity, alertness, and precision was seriously multiplied! I was able to work all night with precision, focus, concentration, without wandering thoughts at all. Pretty stunning! Read more

The media could not be loaded.  I have been in health and fitness for over 13 years. I tend to know a lot about it.Let me explain exactly what each ingredient in this product is, how it effects you, and why you should care.Let's start under the Main Ingredients:Vitamin Bs - Not necessary, but won't hurt.L-Citrulline 6.5g - One of the few ingredients that will make a difference. Important for the pump. But "fermented" fad-marketing garbage.L-Leucine 1.75g, L-Isoleucine .875g and L-Valine .875g Fermented - (BCAAs) - so unnecessary in a pre workout, it makes me angry. You don't need protein at every chance you get. This is a waste. Have you ever left protein in a shaker bottle in your car after using it? That's FERMENTED TOO! Have fun drinking it!L-Leucine 3g - More Leucine. More fermented waste.Betaine 2.5g - Another actual worthy addition. Great when paired with beta alanine and creatine. Pushes water in and pumps you up too.Beta Alanine 1.6g - Good. But you should take 3.2g a day for about a month for full effect. You can't just take it once a day and hope for the best. So doing this pre workout isn't enough alone.Creatine HCL 1.5g - Good, Creatine is one of the time-tested true muscle building supplements. You will always hold more water in your muscles when taking creatine, but this lets you push more weight, and hence get stronger than you would have without it. Regardless of deflation afterward. Unfortunately, this is the same story as the beta alanine.. there's not enough. You need to take more than 1.5g every day.Coconut Water Powder .5g - What? Seriously? Come on.SPECTRA ORAC Blend - For those of you that don't know, orac is a fancy abbreviation for antioxidant ability. So these are a measly .1g of thrown together antioxidants. It's really lame, honestly. Gimmicky.Taurine 2g - Good.N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine 1g - L-tyrosine is a superior form of this. But either way, it won't do much of anything for you unless you don't eat healthy food every day. Tyrosine is the precursor to dopamine and norepinephrine. Your body probably gets enough. But you'd know better after those late nights partying every weekend.L-tyrosine .85g fermented - Oh look, it's here too! Still, so unnecessary. What the heck is the advantage of fermenting this? Literally nothing.Organic Caffeine .274g - This is a lot of caffeine. Just think about it. Also unnecessary. At least have the option to add it in or not.Now on to my FAVORITE PART: Other Ingredients. This is where you learn whether or not the company you're buying from actually cares about health and fitness!Citric Acid - Not from citrus. Grown on Black MOLD. I am not lying. This should be in none of your food or supplements.Natural Flavors - Just as bad as artificial flavors. Food companies are allowed to add up to 100 chemicals to a natural extract or ingredient (natural just means that it comes from a plant or animal source) and those are considered "incidental additives," and aren't included in the ingredient list. Seriously.Beet Root Powder - Color. Because you're a child and really care about how your powder looks.Silicon Dioxide - anti caking agent. Makes your powder flow better. Not good or bad. Understandable.Steviol Glycosides - Stevia sweetener.. Don't trust it.. but at least there's not...SUCRALOSE - Dang. This is the worst thing in the world honestly. I don't care who you are, what you do, or what you eat, this, should be nowhere in your diet. Just trust me. From years of experience with this chemical, causing bulimia, anxiety and depression, I can tell you that it's horrible. Oh, and may cause cancer. There's that too.Calcium Silicate - Another anti caking agent? Why two?Sea Salt - Electrolytes at their finest. So now that you know what's in it, I'll give you my take on this product:It's a load of unnecessary crap with MAYBE 6 worthy ingredients. There are 20 servings.. how much did you pay for this? You get 20 or less workouts with this, and it's got harmful filler too? Why would I want this? Well, I don't.What DO I want? Recently I started buying the 6 main ingredients that ACTUALLY work, that are in nearly EVERY effective pre workout, and I mix them in a blender, pour them in a jar, and keep it in my fridge. It's very easy to figure out how much of each powder to put in. I just use the most effective dose as given in health/fitness studies (I posted a video of how I do this, hopefully it helps some of you make a worthy, actually healthy pre workout powder). Then everyday I go to take it, I scoop it into a blate pape, which is an edible film cone. Then I fold the top closed, put it in my mouth, and swallow it.WHY do I do this? Because unflavored fitness powders taste horrid. And this lets me take a lot at once without tasting or feeling it go down. Much quicker than capsules. This is way cheaper AND healthier than getting pre made mixes, and I don't have to worry about what other ingredients are in the pre workout I'm using, because I made it. Plus I can choose how much of each ingredient I want. Including creatine and caffeine, which not everyone uses (my fiancé especially).I get pretty angry about companies that don't care about health. I personally think the problem is that most people in fitness are consumed with looks. Which is fine, and that's why I still am dedicated too. BUT, you won't look good if you aren't ACTUALLY healthy inside. TRUST ME. Let me also add that our minds are especially important to keep healthy. With all this said, I hope this helps some of you reconsider how you supplement. Read more

I decided to try this out since it was 3rd party tested and I knew what I was getting, which is not the norm with most shady pre workouts. Energy levels are not out of hand but good enough to get me through 4am workouts. I like that it had good amounts of bcaa’s because I take it on a empty stomach. Had been going great until recent blood work showed I had too high of potassium levels. Normal ranges are 3.2 to 5.2 and I’m usually at 4.8 as I already eat lots of fruits and nuts and this time I tested at 5.5 which my doc said could put me at danger of arrhythmias. Doc said asked what had changed in my diet and couldn’t think of anything. She brought up how another patient had just had the same problem due to drinking a lot of coconut water. Well I start going through my supplements and I see pre kaged has 500 mg of coconut powder. I’m almost sure this is what causing my elevated levels. I’ll find out in about 1 1/2 months for sure. In the mean time if you have any liver or kidney problems I’d prob be careful when taking this supplement. If you don’t eat lots of potassium rich foods I’m guessing it would probably be ok if not beneficial. Read more

I quit caffeine about 6 months ago because I pin pointed it to giving me inflammation. I use to use this product with caffeine and it did help with strength gains. So when they came out with this I figured I'd give it a try. Being off caffeine I am getting the same results as formula with caffeine, which are good results.A few complaints: They took capsicum out of the original formula, this was a mistake that added a thermogenic effect which added an additional energy component to formula. Then recently they removed quercetin , which helped with pump and inflammation, another mistake. That being said this is still the best product that I know of on the market and I've tried quite a few different supplements in general. This product , pre jym and post jym are the only products I can say I have used that make me fill legitimately stronger. The jym line isn't as clean and gave me inflammation . I would guess this is from heavy artificial sweeteners and cheap bcaas because I get zero inflammation from using pre kaged stim free.Hey Kaged Muscle how about a post workout cocktail, like your version of post jym. Little expensive compared to other pre workouts I’ve used before but wanted to give it a try as like using a different pre month to month for better stimulus.Probably like 7/10 for the effects, not to over bearing which was good for me as sometimes I train late in the day and want a pre workout which I can still sleep after. Won’t knock your socks off, but will have you focus even after Ive had some hard days at work and needed it to take a tired me and get me through my workout.Pump 6/10 not the biggest pump, but can’t complain to much as still does the job where it counts.Taste 10/10 the berry I went for I got to say is probably the best tasting pre workout I’ve ever had in the last 10+ years of taking different ones. It for me a cross between angle delight and candy floss taste..Overall a solid 8/10 as I will cycle this pre workout in again for sure in a few months time. Read more

I have been taking pre workouts for years, mainly c4 but wanted a change. I was excited as I had heard great things about this pre workout so imagined this would rock my world… how wrong was I. First of all the scoop is almost the size of a protein powder scoop, the powder is so strong in flavour this can not be downed as a pre workout. It is like drinking a watery over sugared milkshake that needs about a gallon of water just to chug it down which is a nightmare as I use it at 6am to train and don’t have enough time to even drink the whole thing with out gagging from potential diabetes. Then after you do manage to drink it the effects are minimal. Didn’t promote energy, pumps, nothing. I could drink this and actually go straight to sleep. Please if you are looking for a change and serious about your training do not buy this stuff. Big disappointment! Read more

Well long behold decided to try my favourites Kris Gethins pre workout.. And boy ohh boy does it works. Pump is immense! Over the years tried a lot of pre workouts , from Jack3d to Craze to Bsn to the rest , this reminds me of jack3d the original. Guess will stick to it. Advice to the rest start with half a big scoop! And follow your program as your mind can tell ya you can lift an elephant. Read more

Pre-Kaged is a brilliant offering in the quest for a true one-scoop pre-workout supplement.I purchased the Fruit Punch flavour and, I have to say, it is the best tasting pre-workout I've tried, to the point I wanted to enjoy it instead of chug it down, shaking it occasionally as some of the ingredients don't have too great a solubility in water.I was worried reading some other reviews about some ingredients being of a low dosage compared to other pre-workouts. However, this feels so well-rounded and delivers just enough of everything to make you feel like you're getting the most out of your workout. In particular, the PurCaf caffeine gave me a really clear focus instead of a jittery, run through brick walls vibe I got from other brands. I locked into every rep and felt that 'clean concentration' instead of focus that is so intense that you're thinking of more than just getting the most out of each rep. The leucine and other branched chain aminos compliment the rest of the pre-workout well and help me sustain intensity throughout my session. It is a bit on the expensive side but it is a unique combination of ingredients that have great synergy. In order to replicate that, you would have to double scoop inferior pre-workouts or buy separate ingredient in bulk to create your own blend. Read more
