This was purchased as a gift for my 2 year old grandson's birthday. I totally thought is was going to need batteries, but it turns out it doesn't. It was fun t play with and kept a 2, 3 and 9 year old entertained for a while. It comes in pieces and does require assembly. The hardest part was getting the middle blue attachment to click. The media could not be loaded. Purchased this as a Christmas present for a 2 year old. He and his 4 year old brother loved it. Have not played the actual game yet.
