And it's not mentioned in the product description. My DD is so excited about the new pink swing but I wish I had known because now I have to buy clips that cost $15 when I could have bought the other brand with them for less then what I am now having to pay. I think the swing will be fine in the long run but the ding is now finding the right heavy duty clips! Be aware that the chain loop is very narrow and seems flimsy. This can make it harder to find the needed supplies. For about $.25 more the supplier could put these in!UPDATE: I decided to return this. I then purchased the more expensive version for $4 more. Glad I did! The other better version from another company came assembled, with the needed clips, and is rated to 500 pounds versus 150, is more comfortable to sit on, has better, stronger chain and is a better quality product! The links are very small. So you will for sure need a smaller quick link or carabiner to connect the chain to the swing set. It is plenty long enough. Not sure about the durability yet. I have to wait to get the part to connect it first. Will update when I have got it on and the kids have played on it for a bit. Read more
The swing is a great addition. I’m one issue is that the metal hoops that hook together, no clue what they are officially called, are really small. We had to go buy a small clip to actually attach it to the swing set. I didn’t realize it wasn’t a standard size. Even after having to buy an additional part, it works great! Read more
The chain links and ends are very narrow, so as mentioned it only holds up to 150 lbs. Also, since the chain was so narrow, I had a hard time attaching the top of the chain to my thicker heavy-duty carabiner which attaches the swing chain to the swing frame. If these aren't issues for you, then go for it! Read more
Swing is really nice and strong, but the chain loops are thin. Was hoping the chain loops were as thick as my other belt swings as shown in picture. Coating is very nice also. Just the skinny metal chain links are my only concern. Says it holds up to 150 lbs. That is the only part that I'm concerned with is the links spreading apart. Great price, and great belt swing. The swing seat is comparable to the seat that came with the swing set I have. The chain is lighter than the other swings I have. The manufacturer of this swing seat helpfully sent quick disconnect links to attach the swing to my existing swing set. The links were too big for the chain it was sent with! Did no one at the factory check this? Makes you wonder about their quality control. I was able to buy a set of disconnect links at my local hardware store to make this work. Awesome swing. Very comfortable and durable. But we Had to buy mt climbing hooks I order to hang it on a standard wooden swing set. The swing chain would not fit around the metal bolt on the beam. Read more
This is a great playground swing. The only thing missing is the carabingers to connect to the swing set. How disappointing to have to make a trip to find one that would fit the chain. Makes me worry that the chain is too small for kids play! Read more
