Apparently no one really knows why (at least no one I have read in my quest for the reason this works) but this really does help with altitude sickness better than anything I've ever used. My family is in Colorado and I no longer live there, so visits were hard - headaches were pretty bad. I purchased the Cataplex E2 to help prepare for a trip to Peru where I would be hiking 4+ miles in the mountains at altitudes over 10,000 ft on a daily basis. I have been using this product for two months now for low oxygen living in higher altitude. Since starting it I noticed some behavioral changes in the form of severe agitation and the loss of my ability to focus. I found that had more energy to do things but I began to notice that I was doing these things (keeping busy physically) to try to curb my agitation. Several weeks ago my husband began using the tablets for the same concern and he began having the very same symptoms. I noticed his agitation and change in personality and this was when we started to put two and two together. We began experimenting to see if it was indeed the cataplex E2 causing this. What we discovered was a direct correlation to the agitation right after we had taken the product.
