The quality if these tools is exceptional- they are smooth all over, easy to clean, and it feels so good to use them.The massagers have a nice weight and a smooth feel, and glide across my skin. They are very comfortable to hold, and easy to use. The cool steel is amazing, and helps to perk me up anytime. The cold rolling is phenomenal when a headache starts in!The roller heads have a strong connection to the arms, and feel like they have a very stable connection. The stoppers between the roller heads and the arms keep the heads from jiggling around. There is no noise when using this roller, except the soft happy sounds I make. I'm very satisfied with the construction of the unit.The scraper is easy to use and hold as well, and shaped nicely for all the curves and angles I use it for. It relieved the tension that I had in my neck that had been building up in no time! I used it to scrape along my husband's shoulders, the "crunching" of muscles was nearly immediate. Using this tool to slide across the muscles and break up tension is much easier and works faster than just using my hands on him.Adding these in a daily routine was not only simple, but very enjoyable! My face feels more alive after using these -almost tingly- and it helps me to feel more alert and focused. Unfortunately my introduction to this stainless steel massage toolset was being greeted with fingerprints and oily smudges on both tools. I cleaned them a bit, but some evidence of the condition can be seen in the attached photos.Aside from the poor initial introduction, this is a solidly constructed pair of massage tools. Indeed they are composed of excellent quality stainless steel. They have a mirror finish, with expected attending smooth surfaces.The massage roller has some heft, though not oppressively heavy. Still, it is noticeably heavier than jade or rose quartz counterparts. The stainless steel gives the massage roller a high tech or clinical aesthetic. It has the plastic inserts that act as bearings, facilitating a smooth and quiet rolling action. The rollers operate like a well oiled wheel (note: there is no oil used, the plastic insert enhances the rolling motion). The rollers tend to be wider than jade/rose quartz counterparts. This is most noticeable in the smaller roller.The gua sha has an excellent feel. The size and thickness are well considered; It fits comfortably in the hand and is easy to handle. Of course, it exhibits the same mirror finish and smooth surface as the massage roller. Other than the fingerprints and smudges (which were mostly wiped/buffed off before the photos), this is an excellent heart shaped gua sha. And, being composed of stainless steel, there is virtually no worries about breaking/cracking, which is a liability when jade or rose quartz gua sha are dropped.If you have a collection of massage tools (jade and rose quartz massage rollers and gua sha), this would be an excellent addition. I use hot/cold gel packs to add temperature aspects when using these stainless steel massage tools. The metal aspects readily assimilate the temperature from the gel pack. I can keep the gua sha wrapped in the gel pack while using the massage roller, or vice versa.The set does match the pictures and statements in the product details. However, my disappointment in the 'dirty' conditions (were these a returned set?), which necessitated a thorough cleaning before actual use, will ding the rating. This set is incredibly well made with high quality materials. The rollers roll smoothly and feel cool and refreshing on my skin. The gua sha scraper is a great thickness which makes it work fantastically at scraping tense muscles in my neck. This is easily makes my top 3 favorite sets (and I have ordered MANY). It is also nicely packaged and would make for a nice gift.
