this gum is fantastic. licorice flavor is calm & delicious - more necco than rope or callard&bowser. was looking for non-aspartame, etc. gum. knew xylitol was good for teeth & for bumping your mouth in alkaline direction after acidic & sugary foods. had tasted licorice gum before that had sorbitol & (i think) a bit of mint for "refreshing" taste. liked that, but vastly prefer this. i enjoy spry's natural speamint xylitol mouthwash also. i round it out with xyla xylitol packets, intended to replace sugar packets, which i carry around instead to toss in my mouth to vigorously swish through my teeth/gums/mouth & then spit out to draw out moisture in dry mouth, & de-acidify teeth on the run - no need to rinse. can pop in at end of meal/espresso at restaurant, swish around while using toilet & spit out before flushing... I think this is the best that's Spry has to offer. The other flavors you can only taste for about 3 minutes but this one last quite a bit longer. it also doesn't burn my tongue like the peppermint or the cinnamon. it's kind of hard to find in the store so it's nice that I can have it at a reasonable price on Amazon free delivery. I really like this gum. It is my favorite flavor. My dentist told me that chewing gum sweetened with Xylitol has dental hygiene benefits. If you can brush after a meal I can chew this gum and it helps with bad bacteria from not sticking to your teeth. That helps in preventing cavities from getting a start. I'll keep buying this gum because I really like it and the dental benefits are a plus. Read more
I think there's price fixing with the good Xylitol gum brands like this one. They are all outrageously expensive but I'm addicted to this licorice flavor. It's helped me stay off cigarettes for years now, and it prevents cavities because it hinders the growth of bad bacteria in the mouth. Read more
I’ve ordered this black licorice gun before and absolutely loved it. Especially the large 500 count bag. I recently received a six pack with 55 pieces each container. The product is much harder to chew and the flavor leaves within minutes, so I’m very disappointed in this batch. Read more
