I have been buying the Spry Green Tea gum from this vendor since 2013. My dentist recommended chewing Xylitol gum ( I take so many drugs for my lungs that my mouth is always dry) and it worked. My recent order came with a different label but I didn’t think much of it since it still had the Spry branding. I just opened my last order and it is not the same gum. It tastes stale and has little flavor - the pieces also seems larger. Checked the label and the new container only does only have 550 pieces vs the original 600 pieces thicker coating? I’ll keep the gum - Obviously I’ve already opened it and I’m out of other gum (the perils of living 100 miles from a supermarket or drug store). Just a heads up to others. Read more

My doctor put me on a new COPD inhaler that has 'terrible dry mouth' as a side effect. Drug store has mouthwash, lozenges, and gum. I tried them all. Gum worked the best.I agonized over buying these because you have to buy 600 of them. Would they work? Would they taste good? Freshness? How the heck would one know whether a cube of chewing gum is fresh?Anyway, my only is pleasure with this gum is that it loses its flavor very fast and then taste like...I don't know. Putty.I gave it no more than three stars in any category because it's rather expensive and the only way I can tolerate the taste and find convenience in chewing it before it turns into putty is by also purchasing Trident chewing-gum flavored sugar-free gum to go with it.Nevertheless, it's a great idea and that's why I'm ordering it again because I really like being able to reach for this product combined with the trident for something sweet instead of sugary stuff. Product is ok. Flavor is descent and it is one of the better xylitol gums out there. That said this used to be 600 pieces and now is 550. Shrinkage earns you a 3 at max in my book. Should have just raised prices and kept the same form factor. Shrinkage is why I can't use subscribe and save on anything - if the amounts are constantly changing, then the order frequency also changes. Big bummer. Read more

Do not expect the green tea flavor to taste anything like green tea. More like Juicy Fruit. But it doesn't matter, because all the flavor is gone in about 30 seconds. Will not buy again. Always liked the cinnamon, but other reviews are saying that flavor has changed for the worse too, along with 50 fewer pieces in the same size canister. So I'll be looking for other xylitol gums. I took a gamble on this. Previously, I liked Spry Cinnamon flavor, but it was very strong, which helped in the longevity but wasn't as 'good-tasting' initially.The green tea flavor is not that, but I like it better.
